  1. I'm liking this build and loving the paint - SHINY :)
  2. I'm in FLA too. Both Coast & TCP Global are in CA. Shipping from both is quick but Coast is cheaper.
  3. Their 2oz pre-mix is about $2.00 more expensive than Coast Airbrush - and no, I'm not an owner, partner, or in any way associated with Coast Airbrush.
  4. I'll be at Hobby Lobby this Saturday for a Florida Auto & Scale Truck meeting, so I'll check. I'll also have 40% off coupons in my pocket.
  5. Not yet disappointed? I sincerely hope that you'll never be disappointed in my parts. Have you thought about putting a screen or pantyhose over a vacuum hose and vacuuming the area around where the part dropped? Sometimes that works. I've completed new packaging; re-configured my display board; took new pics; dropped several items; fine tuning a website that my wife made; and just trying to get ready to launch the new deal.
  6. Clean and SHINY :)
  7. Coast Airbrush and TCP Global sell pre-mixed HOK paint. Coast is the less expensive ($2.00 cheaper for 2 oz pre-mix).
  8. Looking good - more pics.
  9. Oh yeah. I like SHINY :)
  10. A 409 in a '64 Chevy is sure muscle. Nice build.
  11. That purple is a decal? I like it, Wayne.
  12. Yeah, just click on Crazy Scale Auto Parts. I've taken all new pics and am presently going through re-packaging everything. My wife created a website for me and plan to have it up and running in a couple of days.
  13. My guess too - 1957 Caddy with some kind of jet/turbo engine. All the stuff you can do in the smaller scales, huh Don?
  14. The whole body is Alclad? Never heard of anybody doing that before. Is that the final finish or does it get cleared and polished? I didn't think you could clear coat Alclad.
  15. Scale Dreams sells BMF and it's probably cheaper than MicroMark.
  16. Terrific engine details and nice SHINY :) paint. Love it.
  17. I followed your WIP and enjoyed your build. Congratulations on the award.
  18. Well Turtle Wax bummed me out. I talked with 3 different people and none of them could find the grit of their polishing compound. Novus on the other hand was terrific. Novus #2 is 1200 grit and Novus #3 is 600 grit.
  19. STOP! You're killin' me here, Dominik. But I love seeing your pics. Wonderful work.
  20. Unreal Dominik. I can't believe all the little details. I keep going back to look and it seems there's always something else I find and start drooling all over my keyboard - again and again.
  21. Oh man. For years I lived in Winfield - right up County Farm road from the fairgrounds and never knew about a model car swap meet.
  22. The next meeting of the Florida Auto & Scale Trucks model club (FAST) will be held on October 1, 2011 at the Hobby Lobby in Ocala at 10:00am. Hard to predict, but I bet we'll have a good time - again!
  23. Yeah - get a subscription. It's delivered to your door saving you time and gas to go find one. I don't know what's going to happen when the USPS shuts down.
  24. Thanks, Donn. If/when I get an answer from Novus & Turtle Wax, I'll be sure to post it here. By the way Donn, somebody was asking about the Paasche H series, single action airbrush. I told him it's recommended by you.
