  1. Very nice looking boats. I especially like what you with the submarine. Problem is, the only Cutty Sark I know is in a bottle .
  2. Your Dart looks really good even with lousy pics. I'd like to see/hear more about your muffler procedure. Are they painted? Decals?
  3. It must be me. I've never been in a modeling funk. I start a kit and work on it until it's done - sometimes a couple of weeks and other times a few months. I never start a kit and put it back in the box for building/finishing later.
  4. Very nice looking build - and SHINY. :)
  5. Still looks good, John and I can appreciate the work you're putting into it. And guess what? It's Friday! Already put in siome pool time, so now it's time to get the pizza going and then it'll be time for popcorn and WWE Friday Night Smackdown. Have a great evening.
  6. I liked it better before the bubble top but it sure is looking good.
  7. That looks really cool, matey.
  8. You'll make it though, Bill. This is a prime example of why everyone should have a thorough inventory of everything in their house. Purchase date, price paid, serial and model numbers, along with pictures. We go through the house at least once a year (before hurricane season) and do an inventory. We keep a record on my computer, Marcia's laptop, and a jump drive in a safe deposit box at the bank.
  9. Terrible, Bill. At least you're OK. Hopefully you'll be able to rebuild better than it was.
  10. I'm not into rust & rats, but this build is interesting.
  11. Bang! Another great build, John - and SHINY to boot. :)
  12. I like it. Nice job.
  13. How can anybody lose interest in building model cars/trucks? I've been building since 1958 and am still going. The best thing to do might be to send me all your kits and tools and be done with it.
  14. Shane, I went through all my decal sheets and found 1 Schiefer decal. It's from some old kit, not a Slixx decal. If you can use it, it yours.
  15. I liked the other vent you had - but it's your build.
  16. The mailman just dropped off #161 in pristine condition. Sadly, I don't have time to read it right now because it's build time.
  17. Gorgeous build and SHINY. :)
  18. Nice build.
  19. The important thing is that you're safe, Bill. Refrigerators and water heaters can be replaced.
  20. Looks like you & me will almost the last people to get #161, Dr. Cranky.
  21. Use a hole punch. They come in various sizes. Or, cut to roughly the correct size, drill a hole in the center, screw on to a mandrel, put it in a Dremel, and use a file or sanding stick to final shape.
  22. Some good work going on here, but I'm still confused. What's with the BBQ?
  23. You're killijn' me, Shane. It looks great!
