I used to use Tamiya TS13 or TS65 clear coats over the Testor's paint. Never had a problem.

I've been planning for quite some time to attending. But today a wrench was thrown into the works. The 690th MP unit from Crystal River is supposed to return home on the 9th after a year in Afghanistan. It's extremely important to me to be there to help welcome home these heroes, so I might miss the Billet Proof show.

Funkster - I've been buying the 2oz pre-mixed HOK kandies and base coats from TCP Global. But do yourself a favor and check the same products at Coast Airbrush. I believe you'll find the same 2oz pre-mixed HOK paints for $1.00 cheaper per bottle than TCP.

I think the higher shipping rates for Canada are due to the weather. If you would keep that icy cold air up there, I would lobby for more reasonable shipping rates.

I'll probably be ordering some 2oz bottles along with the "Plastic Caps, Black Polypro Ribbed Snap Top Cap" #2515-05. They seem to be the caps that come on the HOK bottles of pre-mixed paint. Doing a little research, I find that they sell bottles with the cap. The 2oz version is 0001-44 and is $21.60 for 48 of them. Anybody up for sharing an order of bottles/caps? I could maybe use 12. I wonder if Michaels or HL plastic bottles?
