I have a Rolling Thunder meeting on OCtober 9 so I won't be able to make the Tampa Street Rod show. I am interested in a model car club. When & where are you going to meet? I live in Citrus Springs - over on the left coast.

I have several of those engines stands. Would anybody like to borrow one to make a casting? I'm trying to get into casting but that engine stand is beyond me.

I didn't mind the "Rants & Raves" section. Didn't go there much either. Maybe that's why I haven't missed it. Thanks for the reply Jeff. After thinking and looking at the situation, I think I'd be better off to glue the tubing to the back of the wheel after the resin has been poured. Hopefully it'll stick.

I've made a wheel mold using Smooth-On and cast some wheels. Is there some kind of glue I can use to attach Evergreen tubing to the mold? I'd like to have a piece of tubing sticking out the back of the wheel before I pour the resin for casting.

How did you do the grill? Evergreen?

Lay down some Plast-i-cote white primer and shoot Tamiya pearl TS65 over it.

Two finished and 1100 kits waiting? Holy moly!! Maybe you need to stop buying/trading Whale392 and start building. I feel bad that I have about 40 kits (with 2 Hemi Darts on order). 1100 kits?? WOW!!!

Fantastic builds, Earl. On a 1:1 they'd be a nasty ride being rigid frames. I'll stick with my HD Wide Glide. H,h,h,h,h Honda??? Come on Zukiholic - who would admit to riding a Honda? I used to - and most of the other metric bikes ( notice I didn't say rice burners) until I was 50 and got divorced. She left and a Harley was in the garage a few weeks later. Sometimes, actually many times, I wish she would have left sooner. Hey, whatever you ride, RIDE SAFE!!

I've built a few models for people who wanted a scale version of their 1:1. My builds weren't the greatest, but then I didn't charge anything either. I just like building models and found trying to duplicate a 1:1 in scale was a challenge. Maybe I should have asked for the price of the original kit?

Those look pretty cool. Maybe we need a photoshop-off with you, Harry P. and whoever else does that stuff.
