  1. This build looks interesting and worth watching.
  2. 1937 Chevy Do you need 6's or you just wnat to know what kits they came in? I probably have a few laying about.
  3. Those are super pics. Thanks for sharing them. I wish I would have gone to Tampa instead of my meeting. Maybe next year.

    My builds

Super nice looking builds, Jose - except the rat rod pickup. I don't care for rat rod stuff. I can't figure what you did to that silver Mustang - I think it's a Mustang but the roof is different. Looks good whatever it is.
  5. I already did that, Rob. Here's the list. Doug McCabe Doug McCabe Clermont Swifster Tom Allen Mulberry Crazyjim Jim Stepanek Citrus Springs My66s55 Doug Craig Debary 1320Wayne Wayne Stevens Daytona Beach Sclautobldr Mike Gordon Orlando Bobbyj Robert Jernigan Hudson Jantrix Rob Mattis Tampa MikeD1 Mike Dieteman Springhill GrandpaMcGurk Don Garret Ocklawaha I made a copy of Florida from an atlas and plotted the cities. Looks to me like Clermont is in the middle.
  6. It'll be a forty - fifty mile drive for me but worth it if enough people say they'll show and we can get a club going. Doug, will you be sending out actual street address? I'll need it for the GPS.
  7. I'm looking forward to the meting on the 19th if other people are going to make it. Doesn't make much sense for just 2 of us.
  8. A few kits, Chris? Looks like you hit the motherload. That Eldorado is a really nice kit.
  9. I have about the same distance to Hobby Lobby & Michaels but the coupons will make the trip worthwhile (hopefully). Have you checked Chicago Airbrush for the Iwata? I bought my Paasche through them. Price was cheaper than HL with a coupon, no sales tax, and free shipping.
  10. Super nice build, Derek. Love the color.
  11. Looking good, Nick. Better without the wing.
  12. What a neat looking dio.
  13. Happy Birthday, stranger. I miss seeing your fantasic plastic skills.
  14. I usually use Micro Krystal Klear for windows. The same thing happened to me with the Tenax applicator. I followed the directions to clear it, but that didn't seem to work.
  15. Hobby Lobby is having a 30% off plastic & die cast model kits that ends October 16, 2010. There's also a 40% off any one item of regular price October 11 - 16, 2010. The sale & coupon along with the 50% off coupon for Michaels any one regular item is going to force me to take a bike ride late tomorrow morning. My first project in the morning is to get shipping prices on 2 dune buggy items I sold on Ebay. I think Monday is going to be a good day - hope all of you will have a good one too!
  16. My wife forced me to stop at Wal-Mart last night after we went to dinner. I spotted a Campbell-Huasfeld compressor with a 1 gallon tank for $50.00.
  17. Must be nice you can work on your builds at work, Joe. Is there a HobbyTown out your way now? I don't remember one when I was in Aurora.
  18. Good looking build, Joe.
  19. Pretty slick looking build.
  20. Jeff - you dog. What a fantastic score! Should have bought a bunch of them and got into the Ebay discussion.
  21. I'm liking the Exagon Furtive eGT. Don't care for the electric part but I do like the body lines. I'll bet the chances of ever seeing a kit of any of those concept cars is about zero.
  22. Good looking build. That silver thread must have been a pain to glue down.
  23. My local Michaels usually has garbage in the tiny space for model cars, but I'll probably take a ride up there Monday anyway. Maybe Hobby Lobby will have a decent coupon in their weekly email so I can both and the LHS too.
  24. Looks super!! Are those decals on the side or did you paint them? They look good. Where did you get those wheels?
  25. I spray in an outbuilding and have my spray booth vented to the outside. I don't think I'd want to try spraying inside without ventilation. I had a Badger air compressor and traded it off after listening to the experts on this forum. I purchased a unit from Lowe's with a 3 gallon tank - it came with a staple gun, too. It's small and portable so I can carry it around to inflate tires.
