  1. Very nicely done. Where are the rear wheels & tires from? I gotta get some of them.
  2. Hey Harry - maybe all that brass is why somebody invented Brasso.
  3. Terrific looking Cougar.
  4. Is that green design paint? Tape? Vinyl stencil? I like it.
  5. Good looking Ghia. Is it me? All your pics (your other posts as well) look a little blurry to me.
  6. The whole dio looks great - but especially the water! You did good.
  7. Model Car Wax - The Treatment is the only way to go. I usually start out with Novus #2 before the BMF. Then use Novus #1. When the build is complete, I do a coat of Model Car Wax.
  8. I use only Plast-i-cote primers - sandable and the heavier filler kinds in grey or white.
  9. Get Donn Yost's painting DVD and your problem will disappear.
  10. I like shiny paint but your Stude looks excellent.
  11. Gorgeous build. I'm going to remeber it just in case Harry posts it in "Real or Model" some day.
  12. Looks very good. Too bad you bought a whole kit. I have several Fiat bodies in the shop.
  13. Saw the first pic and thought "No way is this a model". The 1:1 is real nice and so is the kit you built.
  14. Nice job on that EMPI Imp. You can tell it's an Imp by the hood. Check my avatar for the real thing.
  15. Would self stick mailing labels be of any use for cutting whitewalls? The labels come various sizes. Maybe cutting them with a circle template and a very sharp blade?
  16. Nice beater. How did you tone down the window trim chrome?
  17. I like watching Dancing with Stars - lotsa leg.
  18. I got mine and looks great! Sorry, I won't be at the show, but good luck.
  19. That's a good looking Camaro.
  20. I used to paint the chrome trim but find that BMF is easier. you can remove it and do it over if it gets messed up. Try that with paint. I've always used rattle cans but have recently moved over to an airbrush. I build for me and not contests and every kit is a new adventure. Get your pics posted!!
  21. Must have been a good time at what looks like a pretty neat place.
  22. Speakers look terrific, and so does the rolled & pleated interior. Is it Evergreen sheet? Those rear tires are looking good too! What are they from?
  23. Johnny - do you have a website for Mikes decals? I FOUND MIKE'S DECALS - thanks.
  24. I'll go with real this time.
