  1. I will be sure to pass that on to him. Thank you for the kind words and response.
  2. I am interested in the fronts. PM me if you would and give me some more details. Thanks
  3. Marcos, did you try Keith Marks decals? He prints muscle cars sheets as well.
  4. Henry J Pro Mod using braided line, carbs, fasteners from Pro Tech. Scratch built roll cage and front down tubes. Jason also used a Ross Gibson resin engine with crimp beads and Detail Master fittings, scratch built nitrous solenoids. He used the front clip off the 55 Chevy pro Mod and modified to coincide with the pics of the car he is doing. Here you go
  5. You can use craft markers from Michael's or A.C. Moore. They are called PIGMA MICRON. markers and come in different size tips. The one I have to enhance the lines is being stubborn and doesn't want to work on the smooth paint.
  6. That is a very well done Skyline tuner style. Nice work!
  7. Yeah, Dale I painted most of the red first then laid the decals over top. Those decals look like a nightmare! Good luck with that.
  8. Not sure how it works, but is Chevy's take if you will on a Hemi style engine known as a Semi Hemi. I incorporated ideas from Dave with his Warren Johnson Gran Am.
  9. Well since my WIP thread was short here are some pictures of the completed model. Well mostly complete anyway. Tamiya kit, paint(decanted and shot through my airbrush) and a Studio27 photo etch set. I just have to add some more photo etch fasteners.
  10. Thanks guys. It was definitely a labor of love and worth the effort.
  11. That looks really good. Can't wait to see it finished up.
  12. Thanks guys. I build anything with four wheels that goes fast! There is alot of talent on here that is awe inspiring to me and helps me push my skills. I enjoy all types from 60's muscle cars, indy cars, sprint cars, road racers, and yes Nascars. No problem on the info. I try to help out who ever I can.
  13. Yes I did enjoy the kit. This is the second one I built. This is the only 956 out of the recent rereleases that is full detail. The Repsol and Shell are curbsides based on slot car style bodys with the glass molded onto the body which makes it difficult to mask and paint. I would suggest buying it and building it. Check around for prices. I have seen them range from $30 to $40
  14. Tamiya porsche 956 mostly box stock. I added a Studio 27 photo etch set, some carbon fiber decals, and some plug wires. Also used MFH heat shield in the engine bay. I am considering cutting out some thin sheet aluminum to pot around the turbo/exhaust areas like the 1:1 car has. We will see what happens. Tamiya TS-26 out of the can and Tamiya TS-49 decanted and shot through the airbrush. Just need to clear it, polish it and decal it and it will be done. Here you go.
  15. Great start. I want to do one of these some day. Can't wait to see more progress. Is that a Scale Productions front bumper?
  16. You're off to a good start. Keep it up
  17. Marcos took a few pics of this car and posted it for me before I understood the technology to post pics. Here are few more closer more detailed pics My biggest problem with this build is that I am not happy with the fuel lines from the carbs to the fuel pump. I would like to fix them but I afraid I will open a can of worms. Other than that I am pleased with this. Enjoy
  18. Real! The tires are a give away. Being a dirt track fan that is what gives it away for me, THE WHEELS! Watch me have to eat crow on this.
  19. That is a very sweet looking Ferrari. That came out beautifully. Yes awesome carbon fiber work as well. One more thing nice and smooth paint.
  20. Let me make a call. I will PM you with the details
  21. Try one of these: www.stradasports.com or www.hiroboy.com
  22. Jeff, I might be able to get my hands on a decent set of decals with no yellowing. Let me know if you are interested.
  23. All of your build look real good.Keep plugging away and remember it's a hobby that is meant to be taken lightly. You keep improving with every build I see. There is plenty of know how on here to assist you in any thing you get hung up on. If I can help you in any way just hit me up. I will be glad to help. Keep cranking out the good work!
  24. Looks good from where I am sitting.
