Oh yeah baby.......... Chris, just LOVING this shot mate. Hey, GREAT work on the hatch too buddy. I know you're not overly happy with the hinge alignment, but knowing your dedication, it WILL look FANtastic mate. -

Well, my decals must've been packed ok, they arrived flat at the bottom of the box. Having had a good chance to very thoroughly go through all the bits and pieces now, I did however find some minor issues with parts. One hood was poorly molded, along the rear edge it had some indents, almost like they were running low on plastic and it didn't fill the mold?? It was also severely warped. I tried to straighten it but as my luck goes, I over tweaked.........S N A P!! And guess which hood it was....yep, the shaker. Other than not being overly fond of the option wheels (yuk!) I'm pretty stoked with the rest of the kit. I can see at least one more in the future...... Or, wait and see if they bring out an AAR version. -
Gorgeous work Mark, I just LOVE that radiator mate, it looks perfect.

Great review Andrew. I'm still a little down about the specs of the new tyres, they still seem to narrow for my liking @ 245 series. But that probably wont stop me adding another to my collection.

Pretty much confirms why the lack of the Hooker exhaust extractors. These "aftermarket" exhaust headers have pretty much been in ALL releases of the Mopar subject from Revell for some time. Now they are not. I'd have thought they would be a "given", seeing that they included parts for a "Street Machine"? Never the less, IF they come in a more Hi-Po version (drag car related), that's fine. -
Thanks for the great photo review Mike. Two thumbs up mate. And thank you Jordan for providing the wheel/tyre sizing. Was really hoping (wishing) for something a little larger than the regular 245 tyre size. (2cm = 2 x 12 [scale], pretty much = 245 wide tyre)

Hi Lou, TDR are making some absolutely awesome parts, most being drawn up from real world counterparts as far as I know, so the detail is tremendous. Check this Shapeways site (they produce the parts for TDR) but be wary of price. Parts are still a tad high, but what yo get is priceless in my opinion. First class stuff. Depending on material chosen, costs also vary greatly. I have a few of their items, as do a few guys on here. 1/12 Camaro ProMod 1/12 Lenco trans 1/12 Turbos All parts are available in a wide range of scales too, so no matter what size you're after, they'll most likely have it.

Interesting...looking at the AAR brochure (?) got me thinking. Did Goodrich ever supply tyres as "standard" to any of the Manufacturers of Muscle cars of the era? -
Holy smokes......Dave, AWESOME work on the rear end cage work and chute support. Hope you do not mind me borrowing your pics to use as guidance? They are without a doubt, the BEST source of information for ALL us guys you know. Mostly because you take the time and effort to show everything in such great detail, more than a bloke can get from most chassis shop sites. As you say, it may not always be exactly as 1:1, but it sure looks the goods. Two thumbs up again mate. PS: Yes, back at the bench, though I'm tackling a couple of little ones (1/25) which I thought I'd never do again. Gotta get to a shop and get hold of some more tubing for the big girl, the stuff I have is not the easily bendable kinda tube.

x 2 Yes, totally agree with Brad, FANtastic work Chris, and I too am waiting to see how the hinge works out buddy. -
Hey Dave, I'm doing pretty good, thanks mate. Be even better once I get my modelling seat warmed up again. ALL this work you are doing for yourself, as well as for us guys, is driving me closer and closer to the bench, thank you. And good luck with the 1:1 build man, can not wait to see that thing fire up.

LOL, I sure will Tim. And thanks so much for your very kind words mate. It was almost a labour of love building that one, body was actually and old JoHan S & M car, interior the Revell Snap-tight (?, Yellow box art) and numerous Amt chassis components. -

Tim, Loving these updates mate, plus all the info you and others are posting regarding factory options and such...All very valuable information, thanks. It's really making me wish mine was here already.....but early December, I can wait for....not sure I'll be able to wait for Christmas day though. (Idea is to put it under the tree, gift to myself ) Still undecided on a direction to go with it, so I'm a definite possibility of one or two more. A stock build will be a must to go beside my kit-bashed "street machine", build as an entry in a build off @ Tom's board. -

LOL @ Michael...^^ Man, you too hey. It is a one of one build that's for sure. Anyone would gladly have it on display in their showcase. Chris, it looks like your supervisor made a full recovery too mate, so pleased to see you include him in the action. As for colour, I ain't gonna be a whole lotta help.....not having seen the real deal or good enough pics. But I know you will get it right. -

Yeah, I spotted this when I ordered mine Rob, but within 24 hours of ordering, it was displayed as "posted", ETA Thu. 28 Nov. - Mon. 9 Dec. This is to Australia as well, and no, I'm not complaining. Tim, more great progress from you, thanks heaps. I am now looking forward to this more than I have regarding 1/25 for a long time. Trouble is, I only ordered 1 .......maybe I should've got a couple. Next time. -

Hey Mike, so pleased to see you giving this a go mate, should be a kool one to follow. The chassis (part II) looks excellent too man, and with the drive shaft loop extended up a tad will look even better. Waiting for the 25th. -

My goodness Harry, if I showed this to my nephew, I'm sure he would say they you're "sicker" than what he claims I am. (meant in a totally kool way BTW ) The level of detail you have garnered for, and succeeded to achieve is just mind blowing mate, GREAT work! That ladder is a working piece of Art alone.... -
Hehehe, hey Dave, you know, if you're tired of messing with this thing, you know where to sent it, right? Must excuse myself if anyone gets some drool and dribble splashed their way......my keyboard is a mess. GORGEOUS work Dave. Oh, and I really must get myself some of those kool tools you showed....I have benders, the not very successful spring style...they are hopeless. Looking forward to the next update mate, I just can't get enough of this ride. Cheers Greg

Hehehe, yeah, going ok mate.....just getting ready to hit my stride again. This motor of yours is gonna be off da hook by the time you get done my friend. I could throw a few more superlatives at it, but I think everyone else has it covered. Just GREAT work mate, and an inspiration for anyone who checks it out. As I mentioned some time back, this build will aid my F/Car build enormously once I start. And yes....mine is back on track. I have drawn up a fresh set of chassis plans and plan to bombard you all here very soon. -

Tim, thanks so much for posting pics of your build up, and that colour combo just goes off in my book. Meant in a totally kool way of course. Great idea now of the detail level in the new tooling, the front and rear ends both look excellent. Makes my decision to steer away from 1/25 a little harder to stick to.... I just ordered one not 5 minutes ago from the seller listed above. -

Chris, seeing your progress here is ultra impressive mate, you have been busy. lol Been away so long I'm feeling a bit like poor John above (I had to go back to p112 )....overwhelmed by your work and dedication to excellence mate. Bravo maestro. (insert round of applause here) The rolling chassis looks wicked man, and don't get me started on 3D work. Your bottles look awesome BTW. I think I'm back in the saddle for the long haul now, so I'll be able to keep tabs on this a lot more closely. Two thumbs up from your long lost Aussie bud.
