That looks good, Neal! I like the patina paint and the "worn" sag of the rear suspension. Greetings from the TNMCC Albany Branch Office!
  2. Virgil, this is great! You've stayed true to the original artwork, which is sometimes hard to do. I look forward to the finished replica!
  3. Welcome, Mike! I've always enjoyed your stuff at NNL East. Glad to see you posting here. The '29 looks perfect. You did 1938 proud with this one!
  4. Well done! I don't build roundy-round cars, but I sure do enjoy seeing these builds. (Well, I do have the Model King '70 GTO stocker so, some day...)
  5. Oh man, that is just beautiful. What a classic. Great build!
  6. Koolest. Kenworth. Ever. I love the chop & '53 interior!
  7. Awesome craftsmanship! And great blending of styles too. You should try one based on the Camaro Concept now.
  8. Very cool! Everything looks perfect. Glad to see the old girl got a new lease on life. Well done.
  9. WOW! That is so, sooo COOL! I love the early-60s look. The paint is gorgeous. No engine wiring needed here...it's perfect. And yes, someone please confirm if those bobbed fenders and American mag rears are in the latest Jalopy release!
  10. Very kool! Tell 'em you know John Milner, and they'll probably let you join the "Fay-Rohs" with that ride.
  11. That roof treatment is the best. And the weathered baby Hemi looks so good! Neato.
  12. Trad! That's neat, man.
  13. That's beautiful! Very clean build.

Very nice! Great vintage look there. "Fat Head" - LOL.
  15. Bob, I'm seeing the following in my catalog: RM-113 - four cylinder exhaust header, For Ford Model A, 3 pcs. - $5.75 RM-121 - racing header for Ford Model A 4-banger engine - $1.75 I've got #113, and it looks like a right-side Hedman would look like on a musclecar. I can't vouch for what #121 looks like. I can't recall any parts for heads or intakes.
  16. Last week I picked up the Revell '56 Nomad. I can't believe I went this long without owning one! Monday I bought my first DONK kit - '63 Impala - BUT...only because it can be built stock too. Yesterday local goodguy VW Dave gave me some Duplicolor spray paint for my Revell '49 Merc. Life is good.
  17. For my second Merc (hacked & cut between primer applications of the first, still-unfinished one), I added a .050 shim to the A pillars to correct the forward sloping roofline. These are pictures from two nights ago. Last night I scribed the needed lines in the driver's side with a #11 blade, razor saw and riffler file. It was tough to keep things straight and true, but I think it's done. More pix to come later in the week... And here is the custom grille I made using the kit's '54 Pontiac grille bar and spotlights for dagmar ends. Thanks for lQQkin!
  18. Nice one, Craig! The wheels look terrific. Well done!
  19. Second one looks great too, Andy! I have those Reps & Mins headlights too. Good to see they work so well on there. Flathead...oh yeah.
  20. YEAH! Keep that going. Nice work so far.
  21. Hi Jeff. Glad to hear you and the boys are building models! As for your questions, you should try this link: http://www.randyayersmodeling.com/modelingforum/index.php Nothing but Nascar talk over there at Randy's. I think the '92 T-bird is a good kit that's representative of the 1:1 cars. The modern cars have a lot more bars, bracing, etc. underneath that the old ones didn't. Also, I think there were two big chassis fab shops back then, but their names escape me. Get those names and google them and I'll bet you'll find chassis/cage photos. Good luck!
  22. Gorgeous build, Jeff. Great craftsmanship, and so clean! I'll be looking for it at the next NNL East.
  23. Noooooooob! Welcome, Casey. Glad to see you're trying some car models. The pickup is looking real good. Is that the Testors Citrus Yellow paint? I think Marc @ MPC Motorsports on here is from the Tulsa area. Model on...
  24. Looks good in Plum Crazy. Where'd you source those wheels/tires from? They're nice.
  25. I'm diggin' the hot rod rake. Cool!
