  1. I am considering doing a model of this, to go with my Ranchero. I have a Jimmy Flintstone Resin body, and the remnants of the orignal Revell Ranchero I used to consruct the "New" Ranchero. In doing the test fit, the fit is not too good, so I have to do a lot of work just to get everything to fit. I may have to approach the build using the new kit. I am going to try to work the one I have one more time.
  2. I have never seen that particular cap in scale. I would love to have a set for a '66 442.
  3. Mike, You did an excellent job on the body mods. I would like to get one, once I have the extra funds.
  4. That's pretty.
  5. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzptttt!!!!!!!!
  6. Beautiful!!!!!
  7. Now that is fantastic. My Mom's forst new car was a 1971 Duster, (F7) Sherwood Green, with a 225, automatic, and not much else. It was something like this one. I am going to so a model of her car, one of these days. Your build may be the one that will take me over the edge.
  8. I followed this build, and I am quite impressed with your workmanship and attention to detail.
  9. I have one of those kits to do, and I am impressed with your build. Absolutely stunning.
  10. That's nice.
  11. Thanks everyone for the positive comments. When I was in high school, my Dad wanted to give me a car for graduation. Of course we had different opinions of what I should have. Some of the cars I test drove, but rejected by him was: '72 Dodge Charger Rallye (400/4spd) '73 Ford Gran Torino Sport (351 Cleveland/C-6) '74 Plymouth 'Cuda (360/Torqueflite) In hind sight, I would not have been able to keep them up, and attend college by myself. Dad knew this, and cooler heads prevailed. I always had a car to drive through high school and college, as my parents had more than one car at their disposal, and I had access to them, so I could not be too mad at him. When I purchased my first car (1978 Camaro), I appreciated it all that much more, and yes, I am going to build a model of it. I have the kit(s), and all of the parts to replicate it. I may do it next year.
  12. Tim, I really like this car. I bought several AMT '71 Chargers while they were cheap, and used their guts under other Mopar projects, such as the '73 Road Runner upgrade, and '70 'Cuda Glue-bomb restoration. I shortened the chassis for this one. This one is going to be a Hemi Orange 1972 Charger Rallye. 400 Magmum/4-Speed. I test drove one when I was a 17 year old. My Dad scuttled the deal after talking to the insurance man. I also have an unbuilt '73 Charger, and a resin '72 Road Runner for my other Charger Chassis and running gear.
  13. I am aware of those mirrors, and I have those kits, but I want to use the mirrors when I build those cars. I have a set of mirrors from a '74 Road Runner in my stash, which I used to as a basis on the Road Runner. I have to reshape them, paint, and install them on the car.
  14. There you go again.
  15. You know I like it!!!!!
  16. Thank you Tim!!!!!
  17. Nice!!!!
  18. Looks good to me!!!!!
  19. You're always welcome here Tom. Just bring that '62 Valiant with you when you're done with it.
  20. Nice. You know I love those suicide door Lincolns. I had to sell off my '68 last year, but I still have most of my other ones. I plan to build a replica of my Dad's '66, which was White, with a Burgundy interior.
  21. Looks pretty good so far.
  22. James2, It seems to me like you have some nice plans for this one, as well as the work you have done so far has been very tasteful. If I could turn this raggamuffin ... into this... Then yours is going to be a beauty.
  23. I love this one, as one of my cousins had a pink and black Victoria, while at the same time, my neighbor who lived directly across the street had a blue and white Customline 2 Door Hardtop. I have an old built-up I did back in the '80s that does not look too bad, but I may pull it apart, and re-paint it, as the paint job is very much dated.
