  1. Bruce- Nice work my friend you ougha have this one casted and build another one of these Satellite Sedans from the movie " The Enforcer " Dirty Harry's cruiser that would be different.
  2. Nick- I'd just looked up the color on the car from Roadhouse. The only burgandy color that was offered on all 1965 Buicks were Burgandy Mist Poly code N. But i can tell you the color on that Buick is brown. Going with the Dupli-Color Cordova Brown Metallic is a perfect match if it doesnt work at least i'd tried to help.
  3. Shane- Matt does in fact one of our vendors i think i remember seeing you there last year. I'd bought a couple of kits from Matt if i see anything he has for sale i'll be buying from him for sure. I cant wait to see The Flying Outhouse it has great detail.
  4. Shane- The Flying Outhouse is looking good im looking foward to seeing it in person next month at the Tigerfest show it looks just like the real thing. I love the details you did to it.
  5. Heres a little something i'd slapped together by using parts from my parts box.
  6. I'd got this AMT 57 Corvette Gasser kit from a fellow member at one of our club meetings in December. I was kicking this idea around by making this one as a fenderless 57 Vette Gasser and thats when the "Pure Hell" Bantam Altered came to mind. I'd scratchbuilt the firewall out of .020 inch sheet styene and now i'd gotta fab up the floorboard and decide if its gonna have the center steer setup the ideas are rolling in.
  7. I'd finally got the Bird on all fours i'd got some extra T-Bird parts thanks to Mark Orr a.k.a disabled modeler. She still needs work. The door spears were removed and will be filled in for that smoother look. Im still debating on adding a canvas cover to cover the rear seat area since its gonna be a PITA to make a boot for it. What ya'll think.
  8. Heres an update on Wooderson's Chevelle shown with its 2nd paint job since the first one it looked ok but i'd started seeing alot of flaws and the paint looked too thick. I'd went with Dupli-Color "Truck,Van & SUV" Universal Black to replicate the original Tuxedo Black paint i was gonna have this one finished by March 27th for the Tigerfest model contest but its not happening.
  9. Heres some progress pics
  10. Heres an update on O'Bannion's Duster i'd got the body a week ago from mustangman once i'd recieved it i got to work on the body right away i'd grafted the engine bay from a AMT 71 Duster. I'd have the frame painted and gave it a black overspray i'd used Rust-Oleum "Textured" Black altough its not accurate but it will do.
  11. Can anyone help me out on this one! Where can i find this set of slotted wheels in scale.
  12. Nick- I'd wanted to give you the lastest on the "Dazed And Confused" Duster i'd just recieved a MPC 73 Duster body to get started which i'd got from member mustangman now i need to do some work on the frame & interior which is from a AMT 71 Duster although the interior pattern isnt accurate but its all i got i'll have pics of the progress soon.
  13. I'd just recieved two projects in the mail a MPC 73 Plymouth Duster body shell that i'd got from forum member mustangman & a Monogram 58 T-Bird from forum member disabled modeler. Thanks for sending me the two projects, fellas i'll keep everyone posted.
  14. Shane- Nice work on the Bantam. The Flying Tigers are having a model contest on March 27th here in Kenner you ougha enter that one.
  15. You can try Morgan Automotive Detail or simply known as M.A.D. Kris sells all different pre-wired distributors and different colors too. His website is http://www.lpstech.com/mad.htm check 'em out.
  16. The Saints are back home in New Orleans WDSU has a special report on the TV as we speak .And tomorrow New Orleans is gonna have a big parade from them do we know how to party over here.
  17. We did play a great game 33-17 it cant get any better than this. First time in 43 years we deserved it.
  18. Zukaholic- That Revell 57 Bel Air is that a 1:25 scale if so where can i get one of those because that kit would make a great "Project X" car seen in that movie "Hollywood Knights".
  19. Heres another one of my projects i'd wanted to show everybody i'll be working on this one little by little i got this T-Bird in a trade from member Bob Bauman it was a glue bomb but with plenty potential the original rear section was toast i'd sawed off the original section in favor of one from a Monogram 59 Impala i had the Impala rear section in the parts box stashed away once i'd joined this section on the Bird it looked sharp. I'd used a Monogram 56 T-Bird windshield frame since the kits frame was cracked. What ya'll think isn't she a saver.
  20. I got my new shelf from the wood shop yesterday i'd never had the chance to post any pics of it so here it is and i have all of my unfinished projects on it. It set me back 40 bucks what ya'll think.
  21. I wanted to keep everyone updated on Wooderson's Chevelle the black paint i'd had on the Chevelle i wasnt too happy with it i'd seen waves in the paint so its in the dip tank as we speak and start all over again. This time im gonna use Dupli-Color Gloss Black which will come out better.
  22. Heres some progress on the C10 its painted with Model Master Turquoise Metallic the bed is ready for paint now i just need to head over to the LHS for some more paint she ougha be in Under Glass just like my 32 Deuce.
  23. I'd finally got some paint on the Deuce its painted with Dupli-Color Toreador Red that was leftover from my 64 GTO build all i got left on this one is to paint a few nick-knack pieces on this one it ougha be in Under Glass section before long.
  24. Heres some progress on the VP Challenger shes close to being finished once i can get a nice day i'll wind up laying some Gloss White paint on the body for the time being its in Flat White paint that i'd used as a primer. I have the exhaust outlets trimmed out since i cant find any R/T tips i'll be using a set from a AMT 70 Corvette theyre close enough i also used the exhaust from a Revell 69 Charger.
  25. Nick- You dont mind me adding another movie car in the mix its O'Bannion's 73 Plymouth Duster from "Dazed And Confused". Heres the pic I'd just added the final coat of white primer on the Challenger. I ougha have it in paint by next week.
