  9. My suggestion was posted here a few days ago through a very astute model builder , NO NOT ME either . The gentleman said a "Point system " could be implemented much like what the I S C A has used in the past . As a former judge within I P M S , I'm bothered by a lot of bias given to certain clubs in trade for future trophy funding packages . Ed Shaver

  15. Doug makes an excellent point here folks . Brake fluid will allow the solid paint fragments to settle in the bottom of a container in usually about a week . I do the same thing . Yes , I have recycled old Brake fluid to strip paint on several projects . Meanwhile , see if there are hazardous material recycling drives in you're area . Often times such materials are picked up in cities . Ed Shaver
  16. I really hope not Randy. How sad budding young artists will not experience a pencil , a piece of chalk , a lump of charcoal........ Ed Shaver
  17. To me , there is a big difference between a bunch of Miscellaneous parts and a motorcycle . I would sooner buy a Bike than a bunch of parts . As to any comment I have made regarding Revell , I have and will repeat what I said . I have lamented ON SEVERAL Occasions a STOCK Height Roof to ME would sell better than ANY Pre- chopped roof . That goes for Mercurys , Fords and Model A's that have NO Stock pieces any more !!!!!!!!! Ed Shaver Hey Revell, common , some STOCK pieces for us please ..................
  18. Collectable Automobile magazine did what Ford missed doing , a Fairmont based Ranchero . I think the same California outfit also did a Thunderbird conversion too . A M C actually built one Hornet based Pick up, it's been restored and it is shown periodically. Ed Shaver
  19. I dunno, I seem to go to all the shows never covered in the two magazines . Therefore , I'll probably never get inside of a magazine with models . I have had writings , articles and yes , my 1-1 cars , ( Vans ) in magazines . I have trophies from both shows and show -in -shines . Ed Shaver
