  3. lol, i had a playstation at one point but i got rid off it since i never used it
  4. yeah, my TV has a co-axial input aswell as the 3 wire deal, yellow, red, white i dont have any off my movies on the laptop (though i could transfer all of that) i do like the idea of not spending anything at all
  5. thanks Mike, but that one is in violation of #4...cost effectiveness (it may not be, im very unschooled in this area, but well beyond my budget nonetheless)
  6. heres one now out off the ford modified stockers 53 hauler

  8. what is it with you Britts? would you believe you are the scond person on this forum to execute a build like this...think it may even have been the same kit iether way, its always nice tl see people build a kit that doesnt end up looking like the box
  9. i would go with a 392 firedome engine just to stay in the mopar family and well, its a great looking engine
  10. if i would do this id need a VW bug to build bumblebee but i think ill pass
  11. here is a shot of the bed and cab, sitting on the extended frame and here is a shot where the frame is crudely stretched i will smooth that all out once the glue sets properly
  12. i got a brand new set of MX pants best part is, its the same series as my helmet and so it matches my barney bike
  13. well, i got started today and wouldnt you know it, on day 1 of this simple build everything escalated and it is no longer simple i found a bed that is long enough to fit a dirtbike (eliminating the need for the trailer) but in order for it to fit massive surgery will be required the first thing i had to do is find out where the bed will fit on the frame in order to get the wheels centered in the wheel wells i measured it several times and still ended up eyeballing it oh well i put 2 peices of styrene rod underneath the new (ford) bed in order to get this part right (the stock bed has square crossmember in the same place that are used to attach the bed to the frame) i also glued a peice of tree in the frame to ensure it will be stay square once i cut it i will need to extend the frame out maybe 2 scale feet in order for the bed to fit i will need to extend the driveshaft by the same amount AND widen the rear end (or replace it) so that the rear wheels sit flush with the fender i know i got the bed in on a trade but have no cleu where it came from (almost thinking it may be 1/20)
  14. nope i may be able to let go of the trailer (i hate seeing bikes get trailered, in my opinion anytime a vehicle can't make it to where its going to do what is gonna do its not desinged right...which is why my dirtbike is plated) IF i can get a larger bed on the truck where both bikes fit into i do have a single bike trailer form a different kit which i started but never finished i may be persuaded to trade that off but that still leaves you without the bikes on a side note, one of our resin casters should really step up and fill the gap for 1/25th motorcycles/dirtbikes
  15. hey, thats gotta be about halfway in between us...lets meet in the middle
  16. sounds interesting but somehow i feel like i did on my wedding night...i know i want in but im afraid that i dont know the whole story
  17. looks great but im afraid your son will be mighty upset when he sees that emblem is missing from his hood
  18. looks like were all making good progress i have the body of the cuda foiled, cleared, sanded and buffed, still needs a good wax though interior is pretty much non existant and im waiting on a front bench seat before i can button it up
  19. i think we can agree its the front cover of a DOHC V engine now we just need to start ruling out engines....i know its not the DOHC HEMI form the superbee
  20. whats your method for decanting the clear?
  21. its a creative outlet and tough most of the time id rather be out fishing, hunting, dirtbiking or other stuff building models is something i can do white family (a lot of times ill set up on the kitchen table while the wife watches a movie, does dishes, cooks or whatever it is women do)
  22. sounds good, just shoot me a PM once you find a good image and we'll get this thing started
  23. if you can find me a decent image to work with i wouldnt mind trying my hand at them but i'd like you to do the legwork
  24. but as a joint effort it may be worth it lets say you have created the perfect grille for said mach 1 and you decide you want a few resin copies for future builds, there may very well be resn casters on here that are willing to take your master, create a die and sell the resin copies (whether they want to share the profits is a different story) that way you spread the load some
  25. welcome abaord John the best tools are patience, a sharp Xacto and some sandpaper those 3 things are really the bassis of great models but keep in mind you will get better with every model you build
