  5. keep replacing ford junk with mopar parts at the rate your going and you just might end up with a decent ride
  6. that sure is a nice looking hurt you got there i really like the moderate amount of making it look old and dirty
  7. you dont have a few extra wheelie bars laying around do you ? that would work for wheels

  12. keep in mind that mosts paints darken per coat so maybe 2 coats will be perfect for the hemi orange but 4 will be to dark just something to consider
  13. one thing that will be a great help is starting a work in progress thread in our "on the workbench" section that way we can follow along and awnser any questions or make suggestions as you go along remember, a picture is worth a thousand words

  15. its a great build but you might wanna reconsider the name no redneck would ever stoop so low as to install airbags (get it...low) you know its a great build if the name is all i can complain about
  16. cool im in no big hurry but let me know what you find im going to have to scratch build it if i cant come up with one
  17. it sounds like a great build i would imagine you want to keep the bodies on thier frames and just swap the suspensions and drivetrain out shouldnt be to bad to do
  18. you'll be fine, just make sure you race on gravel by the time he hooks up you'll be miles away as for cool mudstank vids online, look for the one with the WW2 tank engine
  19. hey guys im just about ready to start chopping away on the firewall of my 32 ford unless anyone has a 34 ford firewall laying around they can spare
  20. it will be the first ever cobra with an actual bite to it
  21. what are you trying to achieve with the sanding ? i personally dont sand in between coats i sand the primers and i wetsand/polish the clear but never the colour coats i would imagine the same idea applies as with primer or clear coat, what are you trying to achieve ? if you are trying to even out a surface and get rid of imperfections start with as rough as a 200 and worh your way up to a nice sheen if all you are doing is cleaning it up for a second coat i would imagine 1200 would be plenty
  22. you guys both have way too many i myself only have about a dozen feel free to ship me a few hundred each to even the ballance welcome aboard bob you'll find that we are one big happy family here (we do have the one or two second cousins we cant seem to get rid off but all in all were just ducky) so lets see some of your builds
  23. it will be nice to see a real engine in one of those car would make an awesome sleeper
  24. i bought my first decal paper from the LHS for a fair amount after i had decent (though not yet perfect but you cant expect perfect the first try) results i went on ebay and bought some more paper on there there are several companies offering decal paper and i went with the one who had the clearest descriptions on thier page (ill share the name in a PM if you want, but i dont want to advertise) i havent had a chance to try it out yet but as everyone says, it is pretty simple
  25. most car forums are like that the worst one i ever belonged to was neco (new cougars) it was like a day in the life of a proctoligist, nothing but buttholes
