  1. what is vector ? is it a program ? it it free ?
  2. now that i think about it...i would like to know how to enlarge without loosing clarity aswell
  3. ok...but how do i keep it from going grainy ?
  4. those look just a hair grainy to me though which would be fine for my own stuff but if im selling these then they need to be perfect one thing i do like about word is the scaling on it, it tells you the dimensions in inches...great for figuring out the size
  5. hey guys i just started printing decals and im wondering what the best way (program) is to scale down images without losing sharpness and clarity
  6. if the 1/25 decals have all the prints on them that you need then they should work no problem so if you can scan then and send them to me in a file ill try to resize and print them for you (just make sure you measure the seats so i know how big to print them) does that sheet not have the hood decal you want ? if it does it would be so much easier then working with a photo maybe you could find the hood emblem using google image search ? if you can find one on a white background i should be able to work with it (im using clear decal paper so the white wont show, which reminds me, if you want white in the seats you have to paint it white before aplying the decal) as for trades, i mostly build mopars so if you have anything in that catagory that you think is a fair trade let me know. right now im looking for a twin turbo setup for a hemi, but i could also use a blower, a nice set of rims and tires or a few superbird wings
  7. if you can provide me the proper pictures i wouldnt mind trying to print you some decals it is a simple but tedious job...basically what it consists of is printing the decals on regular paper untill you gt the perfect size then you just print them on decal paper, clear coat and done id imagine a 1/18 is even easyer because it would show more detail i dont have any 1/18 cars myself so if you could provide me the properly scaled images and i just print them that would be awesome let me know if your interested and well work out a trade
  8. everyones a critic its a daring choice but it looks great in the overall picture
  9. looks really good the redline tires really pull the whole car together with the stripe running down the body
  10. he should be able to install (or have the dealer install) a roush CAI without any warranty issues
  11. looks like your off to a good start there chad just out of curiosity, wheres about in lowell do you live ? me and my wife lived on south center for a few years, right on stoney lake if you ever seen a guy pull up there hauling his boat with a lawnmower chances are you've seen me
  12. desoto firedomes nothing looks better in a car without a hood (say a 34 5 winder) especially with the 8 seperate stacks close second would be the allision V12
  13. you just succesfully turned my auto charger into a stickshift....at least, lest just say thats whats poking up
  14. ill take tammy and diana to go please oh, we'll take my charger, more room in the backseat this should throw your plug in a tailspin
  15. those are the detroit redwings in case you missed it and for those of you who follow soccer my club is PSV eindhoven (Philips Sport Vereniging) from the Netherlands so who better to represent them then a Dutch sports car painted in the local police colours (the red i imagine is the red from PSVs home jerseys and the blue matches their away jerseys) now of to find the MSU spartans
  16. just for kick and gigles i asked him what to use as a donor this oughta be interesting
  17. what do you need it for, how acurate does it need to be and how complex are you thinking ? i might have one in my stash or you might be able to scratchbuild one out of styrene
  18. i have been told that future with a little food dye mixed in not only gives a very nice tint to the windows, it also get rid of whatever scratches might be left after wetsanding and makes it look thinner

i like it looks good and mean any underbody shots ? im wondering how wide those rear rubbers are
  20. very nice if this forum had the option of giving members reputation points you would have gotten a positive point for this tutorial
  21. i would try painting the whole thing gunmetal and then finding a template (bottle cap 3/4 socket, what have you) to cover up the center and then spray the alu trim on
  22. i would like to see a clear division in trucks ranging in size from pickup (including caminos and racheros) to small commercial (maybe duallies) up to large comercial (petes and the such) also, if we could seperate the tutorial into a single closed section where one can submit a tutorial to one of the mod who then place the toturial and lock it so that it doesnt get spammed thats my 2 cents
  23. so if i have a work in progress i should put it in the "workbench" section ? where would i put a rant about people posting in the wrong section ? in the general or in the rants and raves just janking your chain harry i think you guys do a great job moderating the forum and ive told you that before but you left yourself wide open for this one
