    I just used Elmer's clear glue on acetate windshield glass for a Hallock style windshield frame. Takes forever to dry, but can be wiped off if needed. i will let you know how it works out.

    Does anyone make egg crate grille material thick enough to file into complex curves and shapes? I found this picture on line but scratchbuilding this grille would be daunting- I have no idea how I would even start. Any ideas appreciated!

    Chepp, thanks for the info. Disassembly and rebuilding is about the only option if you want a knucklehead (or almost any other bike) in 1/25th scale.

    Thanks, Chepp. I plan on modifying one into a traditional bobber, similar to bikes raced in T.R.O.G. events. I will be using some after market parts and kit parts for the look I want. One other question- what kind of plastic are they molded in? Looks more like a vinyl rather than styrene.

    I think the interior texture looks great- like a wool or mohair interior. If it happens again on a future project, try a little dry brushing for a tweed effect.
