  1. Looks real nice. Love the color. I am currently working on one of these right now. Fenderless and Green.. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Still trying to get the headers to look right. Might be getting close on them now. Got the body decaled and used a couple of photoetch Barracuda emblems from 1970 set and then cleared it.

Where did your tires come from? I have been looking for these for a little while now but haven't had to much time to look. Love the look of your model.
  5. Looking good. Have items to do this build as well, just not enough time in a week with small kids around and work. Always enjoy seeing your work.
  6. Has anyone built one of these? I have gotten to the point of attaching the doors but they do not with the door panels on them. To tight. My hood is warped some too. See thread in Workbench http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=103330
  7. This has been in the works for over 5 years now. Painted with Tamiya Silver but do not recall which one it was. Has gone together great up until now. I have gotten to the point of attaching the doors but they do not with the door panels on them. The interior doors panels are to tight. I tried them prior to paint and them seem to fit but now some 5 years later they do not. My hood is warped some too. Has anyone else built one of these?
  8. Simply beautiful.
  9. Who makes the best 1/24 or 1/25 scale 427 Cobra kit? Revell? Fujimi?
  10. Looks great. Love the looks of the car and the model. Awesome. Here's the wip for anyone that wants to see it. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49174
  11. Bill, just seen your purchase of a Challenger. Congrats. I ordered an '09 B5 Blue Classic R/T Edition sight unseen when they started on taking orders. Got mine just before the shutdown at the end of April 09 and have been loving it since. After 6 years of payments it's all mine and I still get complaints of it, even from the Blue Oval guys and gals. I have just recently taking the resonators off the car to make it a little muscular sounding, although it changed to a deep tone it's not really what I was looking for but I like it. My next mod might be a pistol grip shifter. Yes it's automatic and yes they make them. http://www.mrnorms.com/new/Accessories/SHIFTERS.html#auto, Have fun with it, it's a great car.
  12. Billy Gooche does decals for that Scat City Coronet. I have a set of them but, haven't gotten around to it yet. Here's an ebay listing for them if interested, http://www.ebay.com/itm/MPC-70-Coronet-Super-Bee-Funny-Car-Scat-City-/301637617210?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463b00c63a
  13. Bill, did you get the glass issue worked out? I just ran back thru this thread as I have a 59 Biscayne now and was looking at what you have done with the Impala. Looking great. I need to figure out what to do for windows for my Biscayne too. Would love to see this finished.
  14. Keep an eye out on ebay. There is a seller that goes by t.m.resin that sells the old AF/X N Scale Resin stuff. I just got a 59 Biscayne from them but they had a 64 Plymouth Wagon before.
  15. I ranked them in order I'd like to see. Thanks Brett.
  16. Thanks Brett. I did send an e-mail to Moebius about an instruction sheet. I'll use these in the meantime.
  17. Please. I can use the 53 sheet but it looks like some new parts for the 54. Thank you so much.
  18. Yes it's blank on one side. Is that the way it's suppose to be?
  19. Got one today. I was looking at the contents and noticed no instruction sheet part break down. Has anybody else have this issue? It has the color sheet with colors but no assembly instructions.
  20. July 2014 I met the current owner / restorer of the original 1965 F/Stock Barracuda campaigned by the Golden Commandos. He is a great guy. I was asking him questions about his car and told him I would like to build a model of it. He asked what I would charge him for one. Didn't know what to say, never been asked to build a model before for someone. So, in the meantime I have collected various items to build said car. I started with a resin 1965 Barracuda kit from Model Car World but then I lucked into an original unmolested AMT body. Got a 1971 Duster donor kit for chassis, engine. Got "new" chrome trim from ModelHaus and started building. I have so far gotten the body painted, bare-metal foiled and started the decals. Decals have so far been from Slixx but I do have a set from Model Car World as well. Got the paint code from owner for the Bronze and ordered that from Scale Finishes. The worst thing will be the fenderwell headers. Real Car as seen at Carlisle Model Interior has been painted gold and then semi-gloss clear. I applied gold embossing powder to carpeted areas.
  21. Looks like a Muscle Machine toy on steroids. I like it.
  22. Look at Slixx's Graphic Sheets WARF on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7118.htm?id=3961 ISH on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7119.htm Jesel decal on this sheet http://www.slixx.com/7115.htm?id=3931 Sometimes on there graphic sheets they have split up various sponsors/names to try and avoid licensing issues I believe.
  23. Not Slixx but found these. So someone out there has made. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/warfish-cuda-water-slide-decals-254187850
  24. Where are you going to get or have you gotten the Flock decals already?
  25. Anybody willing to add there 70 Cuda builds?
