  1. One step at a time Pat, this definitely is a challenge. That fire wall is a lump, but nothing a dremel bit can't take care of. Keep it going.
  2. Me too, I also dig the Town Coupe. I didn't know the Mark V even exsisted 2yrs ago. Now I know 5 guys who between them have 10. Lol I'd love to have a mint Bill Blass, but it's the Collector Series MarkV's have the better seat option, buckets with a console.
  3. Highway gas milage is about 300miles/500km per tank. About the same as an AWD Astro van. It's the city driving that sucks, the gearing is 2.45:1, with a 6000lbs car and a seriously under powered 400cid big block it doesn't make for a good combo.
  4. Killer! I really like the open bed and how it allows the rear suspension to be seen.
  5. The ability and skill of some builders is simply mind blowing. With amount of after market bits and pieces it sure does allow the average builder to complete pretty amazing builds. With those same bit and pieces in the hands of masters the realism is out standing, add in the advances in photography and you have a recipe to be able make a build look as real as a 1:1 subject. It's a good time to be into model building, we are in the golden age.
  6. I miss seeing the huge luxury cars that went away in late '70's. Lincoln MarkV's were 19'3" long, the front fenders were close to 7'.
  7. I agree on the hood having to be set aside, it takes away from the model. This is looking like it will be a real stunner when done. The interior looks to be lowrider inspired.
  8. Looking great, you're flying through this build. Digging the wheels.
  9. Some good progress on this, I like where this is going. Good luck with the rest of the build.
  10. This is shaping up nicely, the interior colour is fantastic.
  11. Dig it man, very groovy, far out, lol. Super build.
  12. I totally agree.
  13. That is a great looking dio, fantastic build.
  14. Very cool looking build Peter, looks like you spent a ton of time on this project. I will apologize ahead of time but I am about to pull a mini high jack here. Shay and I go way back on other sites. Shay, you must be asking for a friend, cause it can't be for you. Lol get building buddy and finish that G-D Porsche.

    Class of 2017

That dune buggy and boat bring back younger days of cottage life from the '70's. Great work on the entire group, but especially the bug and the boat.

    "Bad Boys"

A real sharp pair of builds, dig the glass smooth paint.
  17. Beauty build, and nice touch on the race specific mods. Who doesn't like these cars.
  18. Exquisite craftsmanship, love the colour. Those tiny earth magnet have changed what we can do in this scale.
  19. LOVE IT! Now that is a custom street rod, very nice work.
  20. Those are four sharp looking builds.
  21. Now that is one sharp looking diorama congrats, very sharp.

    LaFerrari

Whoa, love that colour. Very nice work all round.

    Rat-ish Rod

Thanks guys, I appreciate you all checking it out. It was a fun build.
  24. Very cool. I really like the under side of the hood, nice bit of handy work there. Is the body paint colour a dark plum or is that just a reflection being picked up? The hood art would look cool on the outside too.
  25. Great looking build, with some fine detailing work.
