Cool rust treatment.

Stunning build with awesome chrome work.
-
Totally brings them into scale. Wish I could take credit for a cool concept. Lol, Cheers

Thanks. You are correct it was the Black Gold version postedby TooOld. Cheers Pretty sure the Model T's came before the A's. Thanks Thanks for posting that up, yes it was a version of that kit. The black with gold bits. Thank you. Thanks, surprising how they look in scale. Cheers Ken.

Thanks for the kind words guys. JC, great thought on the hill climber, it ever never crossed my mind, I guess it would.

Good work man, More sanding. You should have no orange peel showing.
-
Too bad about the orange peel. Wet sanding should get that out. Which show, London or Ottawa?

Cheers guys. A small up date, started block sanding and removing molding lines. Stripped the chrome changed up the kit front tire's for some parts bin tire's. Also started thinning the rims outer edge. This is one aspect of scale building that really kills a great looking build for me. There are so many great looking wheels/rims included in kits that have huge outter rings. They are either too wide or too thick or both. I've posted two pics of the same wheels for comparison in the light. I will let the rest of the pics speak for themselves. I also mixed up some paint for the pin stripping. I wasn't sure if the two brands would mix without reaction, no issue. Sprayed nice on initial testing, dried flat. The paint looks more orange in life then in the pic, should work out for a close match to the red/orange used on the original TV car. Thanks for looking in.

The details you added are really fantastic love the interior. The amount of work to make up that carb linkage, wow, bravo!
-
Those are a real nice pair. Love the orange/gold/bronze colour.
-
Looks good . Although I would prefer the other wheels if it were my car. Regardless it is one very sharp looking build.

Great progress. I really like that shade of red. Then wheels really work with that car.

With the door and hood matching colours and being different from the body the first thing I thought of was the toy from the '70's Smash Up Derby. The build is looking good, dig the engine detail.

Thanks man, I went with the NATO Black which is actuallly a dark green. When I built the movie car years ago when it was first released I read it was actually painted dark green in order to make it more photogenic. Wholly lack of response from me, some how I missed the following posts. Thanks very much for the kind words. Thanks Dan, I appreciate Dan the man! Thanks dude. I appolgize for the late response. Not sure how I missed these.

This really turned out great. Congrats

Getting there, keep up the good work Pat.

A simple kit and a simple build. 1/20 rear wheels/tire's are from the Tamiya F1 Honda 272RA kit, front wheels are Fujimi photo etched.
