  1. Started on the cleaning up the panel lines. Going to be shaving them all off, first off was the fuselage. A liberal amount of liquid plastic has been applied. First time using this stuff for actually filling in gaps and as a bonding agent.
  2. An exceptional collection of builds and a real show case of your scratch building skills. This is a real joy to watch come together. It has also taken me down memory lane, I used to work in an engine shop and got to use all the big machines, except the crank grinder. Great experience, miss it.
  3. You are right, it is a huge kit. I built one over 30yrs ago. Hang in there, with some body/seam work it will look great.
  4. Great work on the cockpit. Good luck with the rest of the build.
  5. Wow, that is an awesome looking build, fantastic work. Makes me think it would look really cool in a fish tank.
  6. My first plan in a couple years. This is part of a group build over on another site. Some good progress after a couple hours work. Not many pieces on this build as I am building it as an inflight version. Fitment is nothing to write home about, needs some filling and reshaping in a few spots. If I was building this for a commission or a show it would need a tone of work in regards to the panel lines. Going to be pretty big once fully assembled.
  7. Wow that looks really great, well done.
  8. I was only joking Ace, , as in referance to the "why blue head lights" question. I had white headers on my jeep and my 76 Road Runner.
  9. Great, thanks, looking forward to getting this started. I have a few other builds on the go right now, but who doesn't right. I have the Revell Cougar xr7 low rider kit, but may go another route. Really looking forward to seeing what the group does with this build.
  10. For me it is about the time. I often do multi layer/colour paint jobs, having a dehydrator will speed the process up big time.
  11. Great scratch building David. Looking forward to seeing this completed.
  12. Great build AC, really dig the colour, and all the details. Why the white headers? Lol, We're in the same hood--ish. I am over in Ancaster.
  13. Great work, all the added details are fantastic. Love the shoe lace fire hoses, a super idea of added realism.
  14. This looks like a real fun CBP. I have always liked low riders and the paint jobs on these cars. If it's cool I'd like to join in on this.
  15. Superb job, love the colour and paint. The engine detail really is killer. Nice choice of wheels too.
  16. This is really cool Pat. Love your garage/machine shop dio, really fantastic work.
  17. Really sharp looking model, love it. Fantastic paint.
  18. Wow, what an epic piece of work. Fantastic work all round. The variegated gold leaf looks great.
  19. Love watching your vids Bill. Thanks for sharing. Great work man, can't wait to see the next instalment.
  20. Welcome aboard Clinton, that is one cool looking car.
  21. Great work, thanks for the extra pics.
  22. Love that kit, really nice work, especially the paint. With a kit that size we would love to see some pics of the engine/transaxle detail.
