  1. Wow, those are all great, but I can't wait for that 48!
  2. Wow, that's a long frame. It's going to be a real monster! Beautiful! Take your CRANKY VITAMINS and keep it going.
  3. Looking real good, keep taking your CRANKY VITAMINS and keep it going, please.
  4. Yes, it's looking good. Keep it going, please.
  5. Thank you, here's a better look at it:
  6. Here's one I did many years ago, the first where I truly felt like I was playing Doctor Cranky-SH-tein and EYEGORE was my faithful assistant: Kit-bashing is fun and I am sure most of you are not strangers to the strange styrene affliction!
  7. Nope, never had any problems with them, or with the one in Japan. Very good, thorough, professional, and on time. Spells great service.
  8. Another clean and beautiful model, another keeper. Great, hardly ever seen subject too. Congrats.
  9. Doctor Cranky is totally jealous! Okay, when can the Lab-RAT-ory CREW move in? Congratulations and enjoy all the amazing styrene journeys you'll embark upon while there! Cheers, DC.
  10. I can most certainly see why so many of us love diecasts . . . they are very cool subjects that don't exist in styrene. This one is no exception. Thanks for sharing with us.
  11. Dave, after years of building, that's all there is left: FUN! Why else do it, right?
  12. THANKS, and yes, I hope to be making progress on this thing, but I have to tell you I am dreading all the detail brush painting waiting for me.
  13. LOL! Divco is the manufacturer. I got it from Amazon.com. The decals are a collaboration between Doctor Cranky and EYEGORE!
  14. Clean and beautiful ride, and wonderful entry. Good luck, chap.
  15. More, more, more . . . we are anxiously awaiting more!
  16. More! More! More! and MORE! Please! You are killing EYEGORE with this one!
  17. I've done that very same thing in a few videos and it works, but I think all you can take is about a minute and then you might just get dizzy!
  18. Rick, I agree with you, but then again those are not as detailed and mind-blowing! I think even the Big Daddy Roth stuff had its charm for the times they were produced, and you know the real stuff was cutting edge. I think model builders are always pushing the envelope and Shannon Mopar Lady is one of those!
  19. LOL! I wish I had spare parts from this kit. The kit itself is about 49 bucks over at the GAMES WORKSHOP. And I used every little bit I could get my hands on! You can find it cheaper on Amazon.
  20. Skip, thank you, you bring up a very good point. I think in the coming years what I am going to do is start visiting builders at their benches and then doing showcases of their models and an interview. Right now the distance (and resources) are limited, but I think it will happen. Maybe what I can do is buy an extra HD flip and mail it around the country . . . hum, ideas, ideas, ideas . . .
  21. I would love to one day see this model in person, and I know I missed it at the NNL East this year, but like Jim "Hollywood" Ferandez's "BAD PENNY," Shannon's "RED BARON" is a model that will live in model building history for all time. Enjoy:
  22. These vehicles are so cool . . . they are perfect specimens for Steampunk subjects, but you've done a great job on this model! Congrats.
  23. I think you did a nice job with it, Chuck, and turned out another unique model for your collection.
  24. Smooth and beautiful. Great job.
