  1. I like the window fit. Glad to help you out so you get to finish your Model.
  2. This is what this trailer started out as .http://www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php?detail=22894 remember the GT 40 was only 40 inches tall or so.
  3. I agreed until I started looking at some old photo's on line from drag strips around the country. many of these trailer were built for the car they put inside and were also home built . A friend picked up a former dragster trailer , it follows the shape of the car somewhat. It was also home built and is not smooth on the sides as we see them today and for the last 25 to 30 years.
  4. Bill I have two of the 55 Ford Birds. One belonged to my late brother is the older AMT box and the one I picked up on EBAY is the Matchbox version. No date on the AMT box but the Matchbox/AMT box has a 1979 date . I have a 57 that is in the same style old Amt box and it has a 1979 date also. I also have an AMT NASCAR Thunderbird kit in 1/16 is this an old MPC kit ?
  5. Nice work Ray. It may not be a Cobra but it sure is cool.
  6. The prices are getting to high to buy kits for just the parts inside anymore. Even the model show prices are to the point of stop and think do I need this kit.
  7. Thanks Kevin. What Bill just typed to this guy is over my head.
  8. Glenn I had no idea you could remove the pictures. I will have to try.
  9. Nothing wrong with pictures, it may help some people and it will help newer builders more then you think.
  10. If you want to be noticed you have to be over the top. Modern theory but if you think of Roth's car maybe not so modern.
  11. Very cool, nice model.
  12. Another fan of this Model. Nice work.
  13. Nice color choice on this good looking model.
  14. Bill if the dealer has the parts to fix will they pick it up for you? Then you only have to get it home. Claim you are do not want to drive it as is. A little lie but hey now is the time to have it in the shop while you can not drive it anyway. My brothers friend talked his GM dealer in to giving him a rental for months when the ignition switch problem was going on. So why would they not come pick it up for you?
  15. Harry you have a good point. Is it your fault for driving the car that may have a defective part, BUT what if it does go off before the replacement parts are even here? Have you been offered a rental car?
  16. Does the Pacer has the inline 6 in it? I like the monthly release videos we get to see what is out now.
  17. The Buddy Guy concert last night was awesome. 80 years old and still playing like a 30 year old. Jeff Beck was also very good.
  18. While coming home at midnight north of Detroit what I think was a 63 4 door Imperial . On the way to the show a 68 or a 69 Skylark Convertible. Both on 75 doing around 65 MPH.
  19. Having lived in a house without Air my whole life never seen this happen. Ye it does get north of 90 degrees here, and our barn and garage do not have Air, no cans did it that sat in them. Not a paint can all the way to Raid and brake cleaner nothing has ever done this. Dads old metal barn is as bad as a car in the sun. If it was heat they would have been popping off every time it hit 100 outside.
  20. Now this is awesome work.
  21. This is coming along fast Kerry. Great work .
  22. Yes Nick. I checked last week and we did not have any at our Local PO. My brother told me the postmaster orders what you get to a point. Ours may be a slacker but not sure.
  23. This turned out very nice.
  24. My brother mailed me a letter with the new Truck stamp. So look at your Local Post office to see if they have them.
