  1. Not much of a pain as anything else at the DMV. Get the info your state requires before you show up. Normaly it is your current ID a passport and or your birth certificate. They did give a reprieve for a few days or weeks because the 2 decades were not enough time.
  2. 1957 Chevy Nomad all nice and shiny ( but still ugly) yellow and white. Have not seen one out in the wild in decades, they were out for a drive because there are no car shows that day here.
  3. That is just not an easy kit to get ahold of. In the Pulling tractors catalog this it, if I recall right. Only been released once or twice. There are orange Chevy truck, an elcamino and I believe a Pinto funny car bodied puller or sand drag car. The elcamino might also be a sand dragster. You might need some patience with this request.
  4. I just wash the plastic with dish detergent of your choice. Use a tooth brush or similar to aid the washing. The box a whipped down with a baby wipe to get the yellow off. Then placed it a big baggie with a couple of dryer sheets. The tires I washed left sit open and they still smell like smoke 10 years later after sitting in baking soda baggie.
  5. There is a resin bed for that switch. Morgan automotive I think.
  6. They run this engine in dirt cars. One of the hot rod type shows put one together and was running ot on the dyno. 4 barrel carb intake.
  7. My buddies son has an Extreme Blazer with an LS and a turbo. Still crazy when the skinny peddle is mashed. No big block needed.
  8. Looks great. Nice color choice.
  9. Not sure of total value but I save all of the old tube glue that are in the old kits I purchase. Also old pIt bottles. That Britfix is a tube I have not see before. Only seen the little Tamyia in pictures.
  10. I agree 100 % this is amazing. Some one had a sale on the truck kit a few years back, i am glad I picked one up. I was surprised when I seen the current price on ebay for one.
  11. Sure wish the shipper that was sent to the store by me had the 66 mustangs.
  12. It's your choice to stay off of facebook. I would not be happy about the use of a build without permission . I don't think I would have deleted my account but I don't blame you.
  13. Check the clearance isle. Some things end up there fast.
  14. Their brand of wood glue foams holds tight but the foaming may push unclamped parts apart. At 1/25th scale you don't need that.
  15. Paint just has to ship ground. So no fast shipping. Give the local car model club a shout if you have one. VFW or American Legion may have military modelers as members.
  16. You might want to go to pegasus Hobbies and try the wheel selection. There is a large selection and maybe they still have some.
  17. I do not use this but wallmart does offer an In Store pick up. Not sure how it works. You have to watch who is selling the kit but you can pick you local store as pick up with free shipping. Again I have not used it.
  18. Sad news for his family. He had a great run to 94. His knowledge with race engines was incredible.
  19. The wallmart in Holland ( Toledo Suburb) Ohio has them but the 2 in Toledo do not. None in Monroe MI or Adrain.
