  1. I like this intro.
  2. Looks good. Another nice model from your bench.
  3. I was not expecting that much chop. Looks fine, I like how ypu did the tail gate.
  4. I also forgot to ask if they are going to do any 67 era Bardacuda grills.
  5. Don't feel bad Scott. I was at the show and forgot to buy the plymouth grill from A few sprues loose. I was to excited about getting the Duster grill. Lol
  6. That paint color sure looks fine as wine. The chassis color is brilliant.
  7. This looks the part. Great job on the build. If the paint is chipped by the wheel lips you could always use a silver to look like the paint was rubbed off on the test run. Just as long as it does not cause a problem.
  8. Not a bad point of how dated the caption hook kit is. But it does give us the hydrolic wheel lift that many companies around Toledo used until they picked up the rollback trucks. It just takes more work to look good.
  9. Flip a coin and guess heads or tails. You get the same luck with buying or selling wifh humans. You might have a string of good luck for awhile. Not sure why people list stuff and dont respond. Dont go to the bad parts of town and ignore old ads.
  10. I had a couple of older built ups sitting on top of a display case for models and the tires started to stick to the top of the clear plastic. I feel it is better to ne safe than sorry.
  11. I would think it would be a preorder to run that mold. Say you have to buy 3 when your order. Do the molding companies even have a machine with a big enough platten to bolt it up anymore?
  12. Do yourself a favor and get glass cut. That way you will not have to worry about tire melt into the shelves. Yes it is possible when ypu get random clear sheet goods.
  13. You could do this as your grandfathers truck from when he was a car guy. Just clean it up and polish the paint after you get it back on its wheels. Would this have been the tow vehicle for the 34 you also have already posted? Move forward with Jeffs version with all newer kit parts like ypu restored Grandpas truck to your tastes without harming his build. I dont believe anything with this truck hasn't been reissued in the last 20 years. The bed is dark in the photo so I can't tell (on my phone) if that is a truck bed or from a rancharo. If you cant find any green that color look into nail polish colors. Sallys has a large selection.
  14. I think Junkman is correct. That is one Lindberg kit I dont have or have not looked at before.
  15. This is just like new coke and the return of old coke now called coke clasic in the 80s.
  16. The funny part about hobby lobby is 2 different stores not more than 15 miles apart one had kits marked down the other store did not.
  17. That vendor was up against the back wall right? If it was i did pick up a mercury kit he had for 15 bucks. I figured I spend more in gas looking at the ollies around me for that kit.
  18. It could be a strombecker model. not sure the pyro, lindberg or the other off brand had a one piece body with an interior molded in. Palmer was the other off brand. It does look to be kit bashed for the nice look it jas now.
  19. While driving fo the model show just north of Detroit on Sunday morning i came up to a Chevy Volt on 75 North. I was just getting into Detroit where the old Fisher body plant was at.
  20. I would think yes.
  21. I have not checked in on this for too long. This is smoking hot. Well done.
  22. Would the extra roof from the 57 thunderbird fit?
  23. Have you looked at best model car parts selection?
  24. This is very cool. So I guess they didnt include an aftermarket cross flow head we here they make in Australia for the straight 6. That Coyote is bad azz.
