  1. I picked one of these up when Ollies had them, to bad they did not have the tall T as well.
  2. The body is looking good, Mike.
  3. I think you are correct about those wheels.
  4. https://www.hallmark.com/ornaments/keepsake-ornaments/legendary-concept-cars-1953-firebird-i-metal-ornament-1899QXR9107.html For you guys that like to pick these up.
  5. The Model Cave in Ypsilanti has them in stock. They just put it on facebook. Mine should be here soon then.
  6. Bruce keep it easy on the 32 body, but if you have a problem I have an extra. I wonder if you put some wire on these post to make them stronger. Also do you have any extra trans-axles from any vettes sitting around? LOL
  7. Amt 34 Ford truck was molded in red.
  8. First I want to say this looks great. I love the color of the wheels just not sure if the grill matching in the same color would not be a bit to much.
  9. I am sure it is the same one sold for many years. Nice engine kit.
  10. Looks like he was into John DeLoren's old papers to create this.
  11. Holly cow this is awesome, even in the smaller scale.
  12. Bill if I see something I like that is aftermarket I buy it because if you wait you may never see it again. Even if it is just for an idea that may change. If I don't have the cash I try and get it when I can. Some may call that collecting or hording but I have wanted things I seen years ago that are no longer around. I waited until I had time to do the project but the parts vanished. LOL
  13. Thank you for posting.
  14. This is looking good Jim. The toned down rust looks better. On the Astro van, Chevy was repainting trucks from that era fro having paint adhesion problems. I bet that van started out down south in the sun baking states. The front fenders look just like the trucks I have seen before the repaint from Chevy. Ford had the same problems back then.
  15. These Photos are great. Nice work on this old kit. Now I know what the funny chassis I found in a parts lot is from now.
  16. Thank you Tim. Great pictures.
  17. Longer than that. The new 23 years ago or so was the old style Coke bottle in plastic. Along with that came the 5 foot base so they did not have to have the plastic cup on the bottom of the bottle. This was cheaper and stronger and let the bottle stand up on it's own. When they had the coke bottle the way they wanted they started on the sprite bottle with the little round bumps in the side. To make it easier Alan just drink it down to the top of the label and refill with your favorite mixer.
  18. Alan it has to do with the carbonation and the way the bottles are made. Different restrictions on bottles that have carbonation. They are made by a 2 step process involving injection and blow molding. They are always trying new things so never say never.
  19. 7am and this night shifter here woke up to pee and what do I hear some human running the mower to pick up leaves. They can't wait until 9 I guess.
  20. One can only hope Dave. The biggest problem I see is that there is a limited use for the tool other than a race car and a convertible. A wagon would be a stretch.
  21. Force I agree with you. We need a new 63 Galaxie .
  22. This looks great. I like the color's you picked.
