  1. Yes Chevy is the entry level for GM. Always has been and Chevy fanatics never want to here that. If you look back at GM's idea it was a good one. Chevy was the money maker as they were rarely the risk taker for the company. The Corvette being the exception. Most of the R&D costs were on the shoulders of the other brands.
  2. Most people do forget about Studebaker so not so much of a foul. LOL What I do find funny is people never seem to mention that the SBC was the Last of the big 3 and most of the independents also beat them to the punch. So it should not have the problems the others have. When you have from 1917 until 1955 to research another one. LOL
  3. Ace you also forgot the Studebaker that came out in 51( I think that was the year ). Another on the list before the Chevy came out again.
  4. They did but had a different front header and head lights.
  5. A 90 in a drain was the way it went back i n the day. a 45 is so much better.
  6. I will say I like the Postal carriers here and the people that work in our local post Office. Just before Christmas I ordered 2 models from a seller on EBAY. When i checked out the tracking one came from California and one came from Indiana. They showed up here the same day.
  7. Wow this is awesome. I do not even know where to begin.

  13. Sorry for your loss Vince, Prayers for your family.
  14. Don't forget that they are 2 piece and not secured in the middle The top might come off when flipped over. Been there, with the Tamiya stand and a coat hanger.
  15. Nice truck and the trio is a great picture of some nice models
  16. I am not a fan of the 4 eyed Vettes but this is nice. I like it.
  17. Looks great. One more finished than me. Life as a strangle hold on time currently.
  18. I like this idea. Are those rear wheel tubs scratch built.
  19. Plans were changed so I did not get to go today. I have heard mixed results but mostly all good. As long as the movie stands upon it's own I will be happy.
  20. While kit numbers have changed over the years so would have the numbers outside of the molds. Every time there was a sale of the company there was a different boss that had their way of doing the cataloging of the molds. Again with different part numbers on the releases the make matters more confusing. I would think that someplace on the large blocks is a stamped or engraved number. The problem is that it may not be in the right spot while it is on the shelf. so they Paint the numbers on the side so you can read them. Most factories I have been in the mold storage room and rack was not lite very well. Today's lights are much better and cheaper to operate.
  21. Looks good Rodger. Nice color combo.
  22. If you have SSSSHHHHHHH. I can't go until Monday!!! LOL
