  1. Weren’t the Lindberg kits 1/20?
  2. Barnabas Vampire Van with coffin trailer
  3. Any 39-40 AMT Tudor will work. Reissued a few times recent years.
  4. Grand Junction CO, Colorado Grand. Running an XK140. Fun times, 1100 mi in 4 days, tried for 2y to get in. Speedster with rare hardtop, DB4 Zagato, LWB Cal spider, XKSS, all rare pre-‘60. In rain
  5. Prob de badge it. Auction time. Lemon claim a thing in CN??
  6. 3y almost. Suspect no. Could’ve been fun.
  7. Silver red fairly rare. Nice car.
  8. B-O-P/Rover V8 was actually used in US P38 Range Rovers thru 2002. At the end, it was 4.0L in SE, 4.6L in HSE. Wife had 97 HSE, a 2000 Callaway 4.6 (tweaked by Callaway, official model), and a 2002 4.6 Rhino edition. Decent motor, did well off-road. 40 years of varied use.
  9. Heavier duty scales in 1:1. Volvo and Benz prob quick out of gate too. gimme a B61 Mack any day
  10. Pininfarina’s wind tunnel is 50y old now. Obvs updated. More than just cars. They have 3 tunnels. 1:1 cars fit. I have a Pininfarina wind tunnel brochure somewhere around here. ??‍♂️?
  11. Glad they got out. Amodel still in Ukraine. ????✊?
  12. You can do special paint, I think it’s 8-10k.
  13. Less better today without Queen. Tough lady. Can keep the rest of them. Sad. Sad that I’ve seen spouse in older couple die, then not long after, survivor dies.
  14. Nice. I have a 1/24 boomerang kit, airfix or reboxed JDM kit. Not great kit but only one that scale. Hardtop the reason I remembered the Treser. Karmann I think did mechanism prototyping.
  15. Hadn’t seen it. Cool. Can’t search that site by scale? ??‍♂️
  16. Nikola solved the battery problem. ??‍♂️?
  17. Yeah. Why I don’t want one. No amount of suspension or tire compound can deal with weight. You can see it wallow exiting first bend, and just pushed then rear let go because conservation of momentum. Pobst was a passenger at turn in. If he can’t save it, doubt few others could. F=ma and newtons 3rd pretty hard to beat
  18. Too busy with selfies. ??forgot about that mad skilz Darwin fail. Road hugging weight and insufficient tires. Pobst is awesome driver. Why he’d even attempt that beyond me. You can’t make a race horse out of a pig, but you can make an awful fast pig ????‍♂️
  19. Just to keep tangentially on topic:
  20. They honestly did a 1:1 Volare Roadrunner in 77, had the kit. Annual wasn’t common I think. Volare “Front Runner” with Roadrunner package.
  21. They fly great. Landing seems to be rate limiter. ??‍♂️?
  22. At least he didn’t pick screen name like @1972coronetor something. Waaaait a minute… ???
  23. Yeah. Anything to lower the costs. Wait, what?
  24. @tbillThat part I understand. But current tech won’t permit it now. Like burying the plugs or v belts under the dash back when they were still consumables. Bad plan for the moment.
  25. They’re a business. They want to make money. No joy in depriving anyone of a saleable kit. So buy their new stuff so they see demand, spend $ modifying the 74 back to the 71-72. Original is long gone.
