  1. Really wish an update if possible. Long silences not reassuring. Been there, understand, but even a “Go away ya back birth(shudder)” would be appreciated. Even a Snake-Phooey.
  2. Nothing like a come-along cranked down on a soft top to secure it. ??‍♂️???
  3. What happens at hobby shops, stays at hobby shops.
  4. Crack is horrible drug. But, if stopped, you can honestly say you don’t know how fast you were going. Almost worth $25 to meet this clown and drive it. 10k miles. Seat wore quickly I guess. ???
  5. Umm, https://amp.cheezburger.com/17041157/seller-posts-ad-for-the-most-red-truck-painted-inside-and-out
  6. Done correctly fwd should pick up inside rear before front lets go. Rwd picks up inside front. Love the shudder you get when it’s wanting to let go. Lol. Track dogs die hard.
  7. Not even an Si. Only has 2 pipes. That much camber in back in FWD (I think Si is awd) is not how I learned to tune. Looks cool but I want g loads not looks
  8. @tim boyd More esoteric than a Muntz Jet. ???? Ghia 6.2L coupe? 911 you knew about, it’s not esoteric. Maybe Pierce Silver Arrow. A: please spill B: hope you’re working on book with DD and some others. ? Haven’t heard about Mr. Doty in ages. Hope he’s well and thriving. Made it thru Covid so there’s that. Best to him and you both.
  9. Doesn’t have to be bright red. Ruby red metallic works fine. Google Bungalow Heaven neighborhood in Pasadena for box art home/garages. Lol. Great excuse to visit. Fun town, OG style.
  10. Year sticker changes color and side too. Back when people were capable. 65-6-7 plates awesome. Pasadena pretty nice place then and now, so new plate fine for song purposes. Just because it’s not to be registered as street car doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. ? Manufacturer or dealer plates go a long way not that I’d know such things.
  11. I was lazy about 70 442 pic sry. I checked on Olds board, and the 70-72 seem to share trunklids. Optical illusion I guess. So easy.
  12. What’s that nice inside plug Colombo going into? 3 carbs looks like. Nice work.
  13. @Dave Metzner The 1963-69 series plate began alphabetically, with three letters beginning with AAA and ending in 1969 with approximately ZZW. Consequently, you can reasonably estimate the approximate year the plate was issued by the beginning three letters. Generally plates BEGINNING with the following letters correspond to the year of issue: ABCD= 1963, EFGHI=1964, JKLMN=1965, OPQRS=1966, TUVW=1967, WXYZ=1968-69. The 1963 series black, steel, plates, has "63" stamped in the upper right hand corner of these plates. This area of the plate was covered by a year sticker in 1964. 1963 series was the last of the California steel license plates. Some of the last, very late, 1969 issues of the 1963 series steel plates were made of aluminum. I did find this chart but looking for more details. 1:1 resto reason too More: 63 - AAA-RDA64 - RDB-SDP65 - SDQ-TEC66 - TED-UGD67 - UGE-WEC68 - WED-YCE69 - YCF-ZZZ
  14. Or hiding in instructions with or without decals. ??‍♂️
  15. Unlikely he was even close. Couple regulars at Pebble and Goodwood. Millionaires can’t compete with billionaires. @Mark That is the real muffler Uhlenhaut used. I couldn’t find pic today but I have one with muffler, skis on rack in back, in snow. I think they sold the blue interior car. Red iirc was Rudy’s own car
  16. Trunk as well I think maybe not??
  17. Damn neighbors will complain about noise
  18. Any more news about our favorite fossil? Hope get well soon means yesterday, not eventually.
  19. Don’t forget this GT3. X would be nice too fwiw.
  20. Group buy op missed. 84mo financing.
  21. E-tron is a sedan. Taycan platform. Nothing to do with R8.
  22. In TX there aren’t any places to stay in many shale areas. Costs weight, but logistics prob worth it. Tox sites all over here in TX too. Google used sleeper dumps and there’s quite a few in CN CA and TX.
  23. I used to be an optimist too ??‍♂️ Threaded Nails. Ask for metric wire cutters or left handed glue gun next time. ?
