@Spottedlaurel Happy B’day. How far they’ve come building cars. They make really nice looking cars that drive well. N’s are cool. Drop the Pony on Watanabes or SSR’s.

Yup. MPC. No molded exhaust, MOC wheelbacks and tires (redlines rare anymore). Forgot about fender badge too. Nice find. -

Volvo based? Rare Saturn Uterus cabriolet? Could be a Kardassian Pannus convertible. -

Good pile. The 64 Impala is AMT. The 63 may be a Revell, I’ve not had one but trunks open, interior has current style detail. Goat may be MPC funny car body, 69 maybe. No idea if that interior is correct. The funny reissue didn’t have interior. The Galaxie is neat, no year on bumper so might be Styline reissue. Mark and guys will know.

Many old annuals/promos have convertible interiors. Usually ran those promos/kits first, then coupes. I think it was 64-65 before ht got their own interiors. Recent kits have specific interiors, easier to do with platform interiors like Olds, etc.

@Ace-Garageguy flamethrowers out back for tailgaters. My DD throws 6” on wfo. upshifts usually makes point. Funny about mirrors. I came up on my daughter doing 85. She figured nobody behind her until all she saw was my headlights and grille filling her mirrors. Lol. Learned about always checking mirrors esp when speeding. They get one free incident, then have to pay difference in insurance if at fault. Money great motivator. Back to topic, people would buy smaller cars if they knew how to avoid crashes It’s hard to get license in many countries, here you need a pulse. Worst thing about styling is trying to find it in a parking lot. Helps with drunks I guess -

First thing I taught kids was max braking. Early. And steering while looking where you want to go. Minimize impact with glancing blow, and accordion braking, leaving exit room. Gas pedal last thing to learn, and wfo so they know how it feels when needed. Sedan looks like a Luigi Colani effort. -

Because stupid? Beauty only skin deep, but dumb goes clear to the bone. Even with autonomous/semiautonomous cars, people nap, whatever else. Ever seen anyone pulled over for inattention? ??♂️ -
Always check horn and blinker fluid together.

Never have to change blades on the horn. ?

@tim boyd Agree. I am not huge fan of huge grilles and squinty HL though. Grille takes a parking lot tap or traffic tap first. Nice headlights out of way, but not all stylish hl are good hl. BMW’s need to put huge grilles on everything, even their electrics, is dumb. Upside, I always did like the Olds waterfall grilles, so they can use the hood when they run out of room. ?? -

@Ace-Garageguy Better than Aurora but still a ways off. Had a few E Jags in extended family, spent a lot of time with them, showed JCNA a bit. 61 welded louver outside release coupe, OEW/red. 98.3pt driven. 65 4.2 iridescent blue roadster/blue, and 67 4.2 red/black roadster. I had early S2 coupe, oew/black. Not as pretty as S1, but mint. Love the things. We’ve both had joy of swapping rotors/pads in back end I’d guess. ???♂️ Haven’t popped new one. Box art truly art. Even Revells. I posted a lot of pics early on iirc. Even Enzo liked it. -

Heller and Gunze much better than that punched in face lump. Gunze rear wheel openings need tweaks, but really nice. Body on Hellers fiddly, but really nice. 1:1 coupes and roadsters do not share windshields. People keep saying that, nope. S1 coupe, 2+2, and roadster didn’t share any glass. -

Great story, cool lady. Author illiterate. She paid not payed, and she remained faithful not fateful. You see this all the time now. Nobody proofreads. But cool story. Thanks.

In last couple days, the mark read tabs throw error message. I’ve not tried entire forum, but multiple sub forums throw same error. Only see on mobile site, on iOS 15.4.1 on Safari. I tried signing in after Google search, and read tab seemed to work. Never had issue before. Ok, signed out, cleared cache, seems fixed. But never happened before. ??Thx.
