  1. I built this one first in 1962 when I was 12 and I still think it's a great kit. Unfortunately, later issues ditched the stock wheels and tyres. This is another all-time favourite...
  2. Looks great. I have the factory built "promo" version of this but it came without that clear, canopy style roof. Was that included in the kit?
  3. Thanks again everyone, very much appreciated!
  4. I like them all.
  5. Very nice bunch of old school customs, the T being my favourite.
  6. Nice work!
  7. The Mercury looks great in that eggshell colour.
  8. Fantastic! Kandy Van, ElCamino and Deora were definitely among the highlights of the year but they're all great.
  9. Impressive collection and good to see a big portion of fun showing through.
  10. Missed this the first time round, so glad you reposted it. Not only a fantastic looking model in its own right, but a truly convincing replica of your real car. Wonderful!!!
  11. Really nice work so far.
  12. Great looking models. I think I like the ugly one best.
  13. That's one hell of a lot of models for one year. The main thing is that none of them LOOK like they were done in a hurry. Excellent work, looking forward to many more in 2015.
  14. That is a really impressive trio! Specially love the Vega - for daring to be different.
  15. Really nice models! The El Camino is one of my (many) favourites of the year - very skillfully modified. And the Little T is pure nostalgia. I still have the original box, now empty, but I have a 90s re-release and enough odds and ends to do more or less what you've done. Excellent.
  16. Great looking models! I do this too - it broadens your choice of subject and, in some cases, the promo was more accurately scaled than any subsequent kit. If some people don't consider this to be building a model then that's their problem.
  17. Some beautiful models in this thread. I've never built a truck but I have a C600 in my stash and there's plenty of inspiration here.
  18. The ICM website, while showing a chrome-plated tree, also mentions "bronzed details", so maybe these will be appropriately coloured for production.
  19. Steve, I love the 65s and you're just the man to do it right. Juha Airio did a stunning version some years back but I think you can rival him.
  20. Very nice collection, I specially like the 64 Plymouth.
  21. All spectacular - and that red Corvette interior is just stunning!
  22. Beautiful, cleanly built models all of them - among my favourites of the year. Looking forward to more in 2015.
