  1. Sad day indeed. Tommy was responsible for a great deal of Bigs success. A great mechanic and self taught engineer, Bigs rear engined digger was made possible as much by TC's insight and cleverness as was Garlits will to see it happen. R.I.P Tommy................... Bob
  2. I'm digging the enthusiasm Art. The latest Mongoose release of the old Monogram kit is certainly encouraging for many of us drag builders. Bob
  3. I'm in as well. I have a few of the Revell kits and an Aurora VooDo Vega, but I wouldn't mind them bringing them back. The Bebe and Mulligan FE digger was the last one released. The molds are there for sure. I build mostly in 1/24/25 but I also dig the larger scales. I know the aftermarket stuff is there already. I'm on board as well. Bob
  4. The bars you built make this 100% better. I have a couple of Japanese HD kits. I should pirate a Shovel out of one of those and do an old school build Very nice. Bob
  5. And here I was thinking my laced strene wheels were cool. These are truly gorgeous! Killer work. Bob
  6. Very cool Vid. Such a sharp young man building models make me feel certain our hobby is in good hands. Thank you. Bob
  7. I almost lettered them but my research showed it wasn't painted [on the BTTF cars]. DeLorean owners can buy an aluminum script package to do theirs up. Bob
  8. No figure Nate. But it did come with extra pieces. They were curious until I watched the movie a few nights ago. Then it hit me. The extra pieces are for the flying version at the end of the movie. There is a mechanism that allows the wheels to fold dwn and out flat like the flying car. The extra parts are for the "Mr Fusion" apparatus that the flying car has. I've decided to paint and build those pieces as an accessory. It even comes with a clear base that plugs in the chassis to get it up off the ground. Very cool stuff. Thans for the kinds words as well guys. Total build time was about a week of nightly building. Bob
  9. Wow, glad it's growing, but growth often means a little pain. I was trying to post my Back To The Future car when that was going on. I kept thinking it was me till I tried other sites and they were just flying in. 300 on at once eh? Awesome!!!! Bob
  10. Those look quite nice. Contact info?? Bob
  11. Not if I see you first...... B
  12. Hard to find Aoshima kit OOB. Sooooooo much fun. Helllooooo McFly!! I used Metalizers but did have to clear coat due to their flaking. I did some fun research since I own the trilogy and took liberties where I felt I needed to, to add spice. A superb kit in every way. I'd like to thank MAMA modelers for providing the kit and the opportunity to model such an icon. Thanks to JustBill for urging me to buy it as well. You can see it tomorrow at work buddy. Bob
  13. A true Museum Piece John. I congradulate you on what is a superb effort in every way. Bob
  14. Yet another one I must get. I'm thinking some overtime is in the works. Bob
  15. Good news indeed Wayne. Please let us all know when they are available. I want a couple of sets each. Bob
  16. I bought from him for the first time early Dec and got it within a week. Total quality and great service. Bob
  17. I'm out to get a couple today. Thanks Bob I'm pretty sure that the aftermarket will do the original decals for this. At least the Mongose stuff. The Snake is notorious for not licensing things with ease. Hopefully some enterprising underground decal maker will take care of those.
  18. Nice decals. The only thing I would offer is the placement of the side decals. Having them lap over the wheel cut-outs might make it look mre like a paint job. Like the roof for example. Other than that minor idea I'm throwing out I think this is wonderful as is. Your stuff is always cool. Bob
  19. SSSSSSMOKIN Roger. I likey Bob
  20. And I thought having 7 Don Prudhomme cars was over the top. I no longer think that. Nice builds every one of em. Bob
  21. Gnarly.... Bob
  22. It's a load of BS. But I was laughing hard, so thanks for that. Hydrocoptic Marzel Vanes? OMG!!! Bob
  23. Finally, a model I can paint in metalflake where the flakes will actually be in scale. My only opportunity so I'll get a couple. One for Dad, one for me. I have to build Dads first though. Bob
  24. Geez John, I'm not sure what to say.... It's been said but bears repeating. OUTSTANDING! Bob
