  1. Dated this chick Pam Babineau in the 80's She was soooooo smokin and had this very car in that very color. Good fun cruising the Ave with a HOT chick in a sweet ride. OH! That build is killer BTW. Lost track...... Bob
  2. Alclad looks great Chris. People keep making it out to be tough to apply but I had good results first time out. Looks like you're an old pro at it. She's really starting to shape up in the motor dept. Bob
  3. BEA utiful.... Bob
  4. Were it not for that wavy kit glass that first pic could be the real thing. Well done on the finishes, in particular the wheels. They look utterly realistic. Well done Sir.
  5. Outstanding from every angle. Looks like it's ready to be drone struck.
  6. Comic dealers have been doing this since the very start. In fact, there is now a "Golden Hour" if you will where an hour before the doors open dealers are free to make deals with others and scope out the competition. It is however bad form to bother anyone during set up. Once the announcer says it's OK, you will see a significant amount of action till the doors are officially open. I worked many a show during the late 80's early 90's and the only one that didn't have it for years and then finally adopted it was Big Apple Con. Hobby vendors need to adopt this.
  7. I have every issue and am looking forward to this one.
  8. That is really very nice. For some reason those wheels really look like they belong on it. Bob
  9. Geez Harry, way to knock out another classic in your usual flawless style. Soooo caleeen. Bob
  10. Here I was thinking it was an actual Top Fuel car. Dagnabit!
  11. As a BIG fan and builder of Ma.K. I love this...
  12. I wish my brain worked like that!!! Those are both well executed and finely crafted. Bob
  13. For 17 years I worked in a European auto shop. People would bring these in for me to work on. I'd tell them "I don't work on Ford cars". They'd get all bent outta shape and leave. Reason being is I worked on a friends XR4Ti and that thing was a PITA. He didn't like changing oil and the turbo went up. Then the electrics went all wonky. I told him to bring it to someone else less our friendship be strained. But I'll say this. That model is really fetching. And I did get to drive it when I initially fixed [read replaced with a rebuilt] turbo. That car was darned quick and comfy to boot. Bob
  14. Could pass for 1:1 all day long. That is one heck of a build.
  15. Good driving, looks like he was trying to reel in that white car for certain.
  16. Gym 4 also happens to be my fave as well. The lefty at the tour buses and the Jaws flyby always gets me.
  17. Looks like a pic out of All Star Drag Racing to me. B E A utiful.
  18. Classic Block. Pure entertainment and that car is something else. What a getaway car that would make. Don't tell me you weren't thinking that as well! Bob
  19. That is gorgeous from stem to stern.
  20. I'll finish the bodies I decaled and painted in the summer months. There were more than I can build so i get to choose and finish as I please. And a couple of commissioned as well.
  21. I have two versions of this kit and while I've never done more than open the boxes they appear to be a handful. Two decal sheets [full CF] and PE set this kit apart. It may be intimidating for some but for a skilled builder i don't see a problem. If you've built a Fujimi Enthusiast kit or say a full detail Tamiya, this should be in your wheelhouse. They are worth what I paid and eventually I'll get to them, God willing and the creek don't rise. Bob
  22. I was going to A//B them. There are a few differences and off the top of my head is the whiplash bars behind the drivers seat. I imagine there are a few more as well but have yet to do any comparisons.
  23. Big thanks for the pics. Gotta get one.
