  1. Good driving, looks like he was trying to reel in that white car for certain.
  2. Gym 4 also happens to be my fave as well. The lefty at the tour buses and the Jaws flyby always gets me.
  3. Looks like a pic out of All Star Drag Racing to me. B E A utiful.
  4. Classic Block. Pure entertainment and that car is something else. What a getaway car that would make. Don't tell me you weren't thinking that as well! Bob
  5. That is gorgeous from stem to stern.
  6. I'll finish the bodies I decaled and painted in the summer months. There were more than I can build so i get to choose and finish as I please. And a couple of commissioned as well.
  7. I have two versions of this kit and while I've never done more than open the boxes they appear to be a handful. Two decal sheets [full CF] and PE set this kit apart. It may be intimidating for some but for a skilled builder i don't see a problem. If you've built a Fujimi Enthusiast kit or say a full detail Tamiya, this should be in your wheelhouse. They are worth what I paid and eventually I'll get to them, God willing and the creek don't rise. Bob
  8. I was going to A//B them. There are a few differences and off the top of my head is the whiplash bars behind the drivers seat. I imagine there are a few more as well but have yet to do any comparisons.
  9. Big thanks for the pics. Gotta get one.
  10. A modern AA/FC , Pro Stock or Top Fuel please.
  11. The local HT here in Baltimore is much the same. RC as far as the eyes could see and the models are tucked in the back. Good news to me was the guy at the counter said they'd be having an Armor sale. I cannot imagine a sale since the Dragon and Tamiya kits were 100% over retail already. What's the sale going to do, bring them into line with "normal" cost? Some sale it'll be.
  12. How about some pics?? Anyone?
  13. Great start to finish on such an iconic car.
  14. Holy Schnickeys!!! Great update and totally worth the effort. I truly am going to be sad the day this beast is complete. Thanks for the journey brother. Bob
  15. That thing looks tougher than undercooked brisket.. Well done!!
  16. Geez, nothing really blowing my skirt up here. Except maybe the SWC.
  17. Wow! Beautiful. I may steal this color for mine.
  18. Stunning from all angles. What a job.
  19. That is very nice. Gotta get me one.
  20. IMO HobbyTown is out of touch pricewise. My local one sells above MSRP. I don't buy kits there but I do purchase paint and supplies. The staff here is just OK with minimum fanfare and no really outgoing personalities. If the prices came into line I'd purchase kits there as well.
  21. You're right JC. I'm gonna hook one of those up. Bob
  22. I take my pics with a good grade digi camera and I have a tripod. But I always take my pics on my bench with so much stuff in the background taking away from the overall build. My fault? 100% kiddo.... Will it change? When I get space. No excuses for blurry pics. I'll retake em if I have to. The cell phone and digi both have previews to see if you got it right. Use it. Bob
  23. Dragline

    Mercster

Wow, taken to its logical extreme. Dandy little roadster. Bob
  24. As mentioned several times before that color combo is outta sight. Well executed as well. Very clean. Bob
