  1. Great detailing and paint. You'll fit in perfectly round here. Welcome Bob
  2. Chuck, your inbox is full and I cannot send you a message. Bob

    PAC MAN

I have a Donkey Kong but it needs a monitor cap kit and some tweaking. That mini looks the bit though. Nice.
  4. Great design cues. Execution is off the chart.. I agree that if they made em like this they wouldn't have the salty reputation they have and kinda sorta deserve.
  5. This machine needs a repop. Very nice indeed.
  6. If they went with round headlights that would help. I got a chance to ride in the new Z28. That car is Blazingly fast and rides like it's on rails. But 75,00 for a Camaro is steep. And there's no denying the Mustangish thing going on either.
  7. The coolest topic in a while. Keep em coming if you can.
  8. I have this kit on the back burner. I recommend the Studio 27 detail up kit. Full of nice goodies. Looks good BTW.
  9. This is handy. Thanks Hows about you make a bunch and trade them off to those of us who want one? Just a thought.
  10. There are many videos of this genius. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/Rynxr6twe4w
  11. In proper doses it's great to turn gloss into semi and so forth. I use it in Future as well with excellent results. You just need to play with it till you find the balance.
  12. I'm convinced. Very nice.
  13. I painted this a few years ago in NAPA colors and got some decals and planned on a NAPA delivery truck thing. The paint bled underneath the tape and I got so mad I nearly chucked it. I let it dry and threw it in the box with disgust. 2 weeks ago after I finished the Malco car I threw this into the pond. It came out very clean so I sanded it and threw some white primer on it. I had no plan whatsoever but I just stared at my paints and it hit me. I laid down some Vallejo acrylic white and taped it off [again]. This time I grabbed Tamiya XF-71 cockpit green and thinned it with a little laquer thinner, shot it and stood back. I have a great many Vallejo raw earth pigments and washes so I attacked it gently with sandpaper first and then rust, followed by a little hairspray and red earth. At least it's not hideously painted blue and yellow and sitting in a box on the shelf. I lost the fin for the pink board but i'm making one and with some string i'll make some bungees to hold both boards to the top and finish it.
  14. I didn't even realize there was any difference as a young man. As I got older I looked for cars and found that certain box size and assumed the car inside was the scale i wanted. 1/24 1/25 didn't matter. Still doesn't.
  15. Modelroundup has them for 69.90? Geez...... I have 2 coming at 42,00 a piece through Amazon.
  16. Is that Vallejo Old Gold I see? very pimp.
  17. All that thing needs is the twizzler dispenser. Super build.
  18. Beautiful. It's funny what 30 years of perspective and skill building can do. Bob
  19. Absolutely Stunning Harry. I have this kit in my stash and you are inspiring me. I don't usually build large scale but that paint turns it into another car. Impressive..
  20. I have about 50 bottles of Vallejo and I love them. They do need a matt or clear varnish but that's not a big deal. The trade off is super fine pigments that flow fantastically. I've airbrushed them, hand painted them. I've practically dipped parts in Vallejo with great results. They are a superior paint to Tamiya and almost everything out there. Get a set and see what all those Maschinen Kreiger, Armor builders are raving about. Of BTW, Their gold set [Old Gold, Gold, Silver and Copper] are to die for. Their powders are the best in the business. I could go on. Bob
  21. Missed this till just now. Wowzers that is supra nice [no one thought of that one?]. I'd say clean but that would be redundant, redundant.. Bob
  22. Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
