  1. This is quite an accomplishment John. The realism is second to none. It could pass for real any day of the week. Reality striven for, then attained. Impressive. Bob
  2. A Fox like I've never seen. That is some pony.
  3. Cruising the "Ave" in 1985 all over again. Very cool.
  4. There was a road racing Mustang a few moths back that was just killer. Chris' Funny car is my ever present inspiration though.
  5. Hope springs eternal........
  6. Those are just crying for paint [and more than a little Dawn]. I'd do em up. Bob
  7. Such is the way of things. I am moving back to Mass this December. I am on the Cape side and usually hit Darlington Hobbies in Pawtucket RI. I wonder if it will be there when I return? Bob
  8. Seriously awesome. So what if it's cloaked in vintage looking steel. All the better if I'm asked. Brilliant machine. Bob
  9. I have a mint in box VooDoo Vega that I keep putting off. I want to build it as a specific car if not the actual VooDoo. It's so mint i keep opening it and fondling the parts then put it back on the shelf. Avoiding might be a stretch. i have the skills to pull it off and Chris Sobak's Army car keeps the inspiration at a high level for me. i may even start it before he finishes that build. LOL. He has really set a high bar and future builds [at least for me] will be judged against it. I continue to gather materials for it but that excuse is rapidly dwindling as i seem to have everything [except the livery] I need to pull it off. Avoid? Perhaps postpone might be better. Bob
  10. That is my plan. I'll post the results this weekend. Thanks again B
  11. Thanks fellas. I think a combo of those two will get the job done. Thanks Bob
  12. I have a Goodwrench Nastruck and the decals were, let's say....suspect. I applied them anyway and they did their "I don't want to play nice" and bubbles formed underneath them. They looked good wet, but dry? Not so much. But now......Getting them off is a bear. I tried tape, not much luck. Any thoutghs as to what compound [meaning a liquid of some sort] that i can dip this thing in to and have it come out fairly clean? Help is appreciated. Bob
  13. Very cool..... How much does it weigh? Bob
  14. The latest would have to be the Simil'R Ford GT marcVd5. Well engineered and a fantastic subject. Two decal sheets with complete carbon fibre coverage, PE, metal springs and a beautiful instruction sheet with accurate color callouts. The price is a tad steep, but I'll deal with that if a kit is this comprehensive. Let's hope they make it for the long haul. Bob
  15. Man, that is nice. I was not aware of this kit being that detailed. Very nice work sir. Bob
  16. Lots of great detailing pics for us mortals. Gosh, that's a lot of money.
  17. Both are superb.... Well done on these fiddly old kits. Bob
  18. That's a beauty....... Bob
  19. Tougher than undercooked flank steak....... Bob
  20. OutFrigginStanding!!! Every bit....... Geez... Bob
  21. Ira, you are Certifiable I swear it!! That is one of the coolest yet bro. Keep on tinkering and we'll keep enjoying your fantastic imagination and skill. Bob
  22. Ouuta tha pahk!!! I've never seen one built so it's not only a first, but a bar raiser. Nice. Bob
  23. Oh man, it is!!!!!!!!!! Good looking out. It was giving me such a kit to go into the radiator it appears i flipped it at some point. I'll flip it over. Good eyes. Bob
