Well, Bentley is VWAG's ultra luxury brand, while Bugatti is the ultra-ultra luxury brand. They had a sedan concept a while back--the Galibier, but it sounds like the next Bugatti model will be a crossover, positioned above the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/spy-shots/bugatti/suv-crossover/

The Grand National includes the GNX parts (first time together in one kit), and the 2n1 aspect of the Impala is there are now optional lowrider wheels/tires and decals..

So that one was basically an unassembled promo. The first AMT '66 Mustang coupe kit I built was the late 70s 'Countdown Series' one.

About 10 years ago, I had a recruiter contact me about a modeling job in Miami...it was for male models for catalog modeling, I think. Pretty funny, I think they got the keyword 'modeling' off my online resume, as I do have that word twice on my resume---as in 'data modeling' and 'object-oriented modeling', two design tasks I've done as part of my work as a software engineer... It is funny, I'm seeing the 'Meet Ukrainian Ladies Now' ad in this thread, and there are a lot of Ukrainians in this area--my neighbors are Ukrainian immigrants.

Yes... this Reynard Indy Car livery for me is a fun memory, since MCI is where I started my career fresh out of grad school in 1997..I have a Hot Wheels version of it. I also like the later MCI Worldcom livery since I was there during the insane merger w/ Worldcom.

In a warehouse that time forgot. Or melted down to make new molds. Or scrapped decades ago.

Well, it's not the level of awful the old Monogram '69 Camaro was, but there are many things wrong...roof shape, rear end too square, too much body in the front fenders and rear quarters above the wheel wells, grille, etc....I wonder if they ever corrected the engine (IIRC the 80s MPC releases had a Pontiac V8 from the '69 Firebird kit). The whole body just looks 'off' if you compare it to photos of a 1:1, or the modern Revell kit.

What did you see on the road today?
Rob Hall replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
While sitting at a light I saw this clean '66 Ford F100 at a gas station..just out of the picture to the left behind a bus stop was a turquoise '66 Mustang convertible and a primered 1950-ish Chevy panel truck. Also saw a clean white w/ white interior '74 Pontiac Grand Ville convertible in traffic, rolling top down on this unseasonable 90 degree afternoon... -
I've been planting more trees (evergreens)....my back yard had a number of stumps that i had to get removed, and been adding trees. Had my huge oak out front pruned. The house next door is getting remodeled after being vacant for a number of years, it has a dozen or so large, mature oaks in the back yard..hope they don't cut them down, makes a nice forest view.

I believe the '64 wagon annual had the 6 and the 65 annual had a V8. Never had either wagon annual, so I'm not sure.

It's a rebox of the upcoming Revell kit...you can see part of the Revell logo on the lower left of that box art card in the background. Other photos show the Revell logo.

That is interesting to me also...I wasn't familiar with KA Models, looked them up, a Korean company..looks like they make aircraft and ship kits..didn't realize they were making 1/24th motor vehicles also.

Beautiful fall weather today... took a drive this evening down through the national park to my favorite custard stand..had a honey cinnamon pecan frozen custard in a chocolate coated waffle cone..delicious. Drove home w/ the A/C off, windows down and sunroof open...going to get out and enjoy the weather as long as it lasts...

What modern US truckkit exists?
Rob Hall replied to PierreR89's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The AMT and Revell T600 kits date to 1990. -
Yeah, I need to finish mine. A few years ago, I bought a Modelhaus '68 Coronet that was already painted and came w/ an AMT '68 Road Runner chassis and engine, just never assembled. I also have rebuildable MPC '68 and '69 Coronet ht and convertible kits, an R&R '68 Coronet, R&R '69 Coronet, R&R '69 Coronet wagon also in resin..

What Cars Do You Like Every Year Of?
Rob Hall replied to JollySipper's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
One for me is the Challenger, even the '78-83 Mitsu-based ones. Love the original '70-74 and the modern ones... Can't say the same for the Charger (didn't care for the FWD hatches in the 80s) or the Mustang (didn't care for the Mustang II). -
1/25 AMT '63 Chevrolet Impala SS Hardtop
Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I recall reading there was a simplified version made in the 70s/80s and the firewall and red taillights disappeared then. I think the taillights were molded in by the time the Prestige Series kit came out in the late 80s. -

That was pretty common in the promo/annual era. -

I restored an annual (that my brother built back in the day), but the custom parts were untouched.
