Linkedin is a strange place sometimes...I get recruiters from all over the country contacting me through there for positions I'd only marginally be interested in. I get developers in India wanting to connect (whom I suspect want to connect w/ potential H1-B sponsors).
I suppose I am irked by the long rain delay on the NASCAR race.. not staying up to watch the whole thing, I'm up at 5 am on Mondays.. on the other hand, the F1 race this morning was a good one..
My dogs didn't seem to react much to the fireworks last night... the main city fireworks show was a few miles away and wasn't very loud in the house..kept the dog door closed and the tv fairly loud.most of them dozed through the evening, one did bark a fair bit off and on...
Get a top-line custom shop to build me a replica Cadillac Sixteen..
For a more down-to-earth, production vehicle, I'd take a Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
and maybe one of these for a practical daily driver, a Merc S63 AMG coupe..

Got the Modelhaus '61 Cadillac Series 62 coupe kit in the mail today...love the fins and skegs look. I was worried about it sitting in a box outside triple digit temps for up to 8 hrs, but other than being a bit warm it seems fine, not warped..
I'll have to take the time to check some of these out...I get over to San Diego or OC for summer beach time a few times a year and Long Beach and Fontana for races some years.. I may be traveling for work to LA frequently starting in the fall.
As the August release is listed at on Model Roundup, I think it will be a regular molded in color (mustard) Snap Tite..same price point as the Boxster Snap Tite reissue. The 2nd issue coming later (been shown in red) will be the pre-paint, i believe (Tower Hobbies is showing this as late September).
