That's pretty incredible...the most I remember personally when I lived in Colorado was just under 4 feet in 3 days...had a couple big ones I remember in spring of '06 and around Christmas '06 (that one closed the airport for a couple days and cancelled my vacation plans).

Nice build...I built that kit in the same color combo about 20 years ago...always liked that kit, about the only issues I've had w/ the ones I've built is the rear bumper is fiddy to attach and they sit low in the rear..

Plaza Japan (plazajapan.com) sells on eBay under the name 'tokyo-hobby'...I've bought from them on eBay multiple times w/ no issues.

Saw a new BMW i3 today in traffic, first I'd seen...silver blue and black two-tone. Tall and narrow w/ skinny tires..looks very futuristic yet violently ugly at the same time..reminds me of a shrunken Honda Element.

I'd definitely like to see one, preferably full detail. And the Charger Hellcat, 300C SRT, and current Viper. More modern kits are definitely needed to balance out all the older subjects...

I got a package from TMR today with some convertible tops I had ordered close to 3 years ago. I'm happy.

Saw a very clean white '71 Torino 500 2dr ht at the grocery today... wasn't familiar that trim level, apparently a '71 only model.

Saw the black Aston Martin Vanquish again today, behind me at the drive thru of the new Dunkin Donuts...also saw an interesting customized orange mid '80s El Camino--had the Monte SS style nose cap, but with flush composite headlights and a slat grille w/ bowtie, perhaps early 90s Lumina parts..was well done. Also saw a very sharp bright blue '68-69 El Camino.

Yes, that was a particularly bad example of badge engineering. Problem is, most people don't know the difference between platform sharing and badge engineering. Lincoln did the same kind of thing in the late 70s...took the Granada/Monarch, gave it a new front end and called it the Versailles.

Saw a new BMW M4 coupe this afternoon in a neat chartreuse yellow..hawt..

The Crown Athlete, Sunny and Century are amongst the HLJ shipment I got today. I saw the T-shirt on HLJs site, unfortunately it only seems to come in large, I need one in stout.

Platform sharing is the norm at most automakers...been that way for decades. The Cimarron was an example of bad badge engineering--pretty much a mediocre Cavalier with some slightly different trim and a longer option list. As far as Cadillac today, the ATS and CTS are on Alpha, which is exclusive to Cadillac for now, though the 6th gen Camaro is supposed to be on it. The XTS is on Epsilon II and has a lot of dirty bits in common w/ the Lacrosse and Impala, but has it's own unique interior and exterior. The SRX is on the same platform as the Equinox and Terrain, but again, unique body and interior. The Escalade is on the same platform as GM's other fullsize BOF SUVs (Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban) but has a lot of differences inside and out...

Saw a black Aston Martin Vanquish and one of the new Lexus RC350 coupes today in silver, first I'd seen in person--very edgy coupe..as in lots of sharp edges and strange lines...

That was over 50 years ago, though. Pretty obscure today.

I found one pic, appears to be a base Ranch Wagon, but same idea only the rooftop is white..

Since the MP4-12C is now old news, I would think they would tool up it's successor, the 650S instead, or the P1.

I guess people aren't paying attention as to how Revell does things..they have multiple body styles of other subjects with shared tooling, and continue to reissue each body style--the '59 Chevies, '59 Cadillacs, tri-five Chevies, etc...why would the '57 Fords be any different??
