  1. Went on an end of the month eBay spree earlier this week and snagged a few interesting old MPC kits...unbuilt '82 Ford EXP (never had that one before), unbuilt '77 Monza (have the '76 and '79), unbuilt '79 Nova, and built and restorable original issue '71 Road Runner (I have 4 of these + the GTX, but love this style Mopie)..
  2. So if you've seen in the box, are the bumpers and fascias separate or molded in? That would definitely help in kitbashing...
  3. It means the AMT, MPC and Polar Lights brands have a future.
  4. I thought Round 2 was leasing the tooling from RC2...RC2 was bought by Tomy, IIRC.
  5. Just marketing nonsense...like the stupid 'Streetburner' moniker Revell uses on some kits..or 'Special Edition', 'Revell Muscle', etc...means nothing.
  6. My LHS said they would be in tomorrow...
  7. Haven't been in a Michaels in years...didn't realize they carried kits.
  8. That's the old concept kit from about 4-5 years ago. This thread is about the new AMT production '10+ Camaro kits that are coming...
  9. Nice...haven't seen that in a while...maybe I will see some over Xmas when I go back to eastern Ohio to visit family for a few days.
  10. Those would be cool variations of the new 2dr sedan...I've never built the old Revell '57 Ranchero or wagon.
  11. AMT is doing them also...SS coupe and convertible kits...as curbsides like their Challenger kits, I believe. Was in the iHobby Expo news a few weeks ago.
  12. Not a big deal to me if a roof is included or not...I have the hardtop from the AMT '62 anyway (have several of those kits). Would the convertible uptop for a '58-60 be similar?
  13. I can't recall if the Revell '58 and '59 (new tool) kits had uptops or hardtops or both.
  14. Cool..nice weathering job.
  15. I've been watching off and on since childhood in the late 70s...have a bunch of the Tamiya and Fujimi 1:20th kits, and a couple of the 1:12th ones. My favorite era of F1 in my lifetime was the late '80s-early '90s--the Senna/Prost/Mansell era. I've also read extensively about F1 in the '50s-70s and have a lot of F1 diecast. I'm planning to go to the Canadian GP next year, never been to an F1 race...I should have gone when F1 was at Indy in the '00s.
  16. Cool...I don't recall reading in the iHobby report..is the convertible going to be a '52 or '53?
  17. I've been buying old kits from eBay since '97...it's got infinite selection, infinite variety...will always find more kits there than at any show I'd go to. Never really had any problems either. And most if not all sellers use PayPal now, so no more money order nonsense...
  18. I have a weird one in my stash somewhere I need to finish someday..I started w/ a C5 Corvette years ago and started reworking the body into a mid-engined sports car..
  19. Overcast and mild here in Phoenix...family in from Ohio, happy dogs, comfy and enjoying a 4 day weekend.
  20. If the Gremlin is successful, maybe the AMT Matador coupe and Pacer wagon can be reissued. Or the MPC Pacer if it's tooling exists.
  21. Is this the kit (convertible) that was reissued IIRC in the late '90s in vintage box art, as part of the R-M SSP series?
  22. Neat...need some scale horses for the trailer....not sure if Breyer or Schleich makes any in 1:24th/1:25th.
