True enough... maybe because my family wasn't native to the area, and that I spent my jr high and high school years in S. Florida, I never picked up an E. Ohio/W. Pa accent/dialect from my childhood there. When I'm back in the area, I really notice the Pittsburgh and E. Ohio/N. WV accents..

Besides bad punctuation, the AF/X soap opera had plenty that was surreal with the tornadoes and spiders. Oddly enough, though, I never had a problem with an order from them 5 years ago or so...I bought quite a few decent parts and bodies from them.

Another big question--curbside or what engine? Ford engine? Chevy engine? Mopar engine? Or something totally from left field...

Yes. Collectible Automobile did a good article on the letter series years ago also. Too bad Moiebus wants to do a '55 instead of a '56...the '56 was the better looking of those 2 years, IMHO..the taillights and rear bumper were nicely integrated, the '55 lights just looked tacked on.

There wasn't. The 300 letter series died out with the 300L in '65. Regular non-letter 300s continued through '71. The 300M came out in '99, stayed that through '04, then the 300C came out for '05. (there was a 300 version of the Cordoba in '79 also).

Odd Chrysler never had a 300A. C-300 to 300B to 300C?

I've dabbled in big rig kits, but really haven't built many. But I'd love to have this one..it's so dramatic. I haven't seen a 1:1 in person yet, though.

I see the Ferrari California (top down) version pictured...is the top up version also going to be available? Or is the roof an optional part? With the RoG versions, it sounded like they were going to be two separate releases (odd).

That's pretty cool...what kit did you start with? Did one of the Japanese companies make a Mitsubishi Galant Eterna?

Got a couple Lindberg Mopies in the mail yesterday...the '64 Dodge 330 reissue (needed one for use w/ an MCW resin conversion) and the MK Paul Goldman '64 Plymouth stock car. Still waiting on my Aoshima Merc SL63 AMG.

As long as we avoid manual or electric pushmowers...

My understanding is that Learning Curve/RC2 (aka Racing Champions) still owns AMT, ERTL, and Polar Lights. Round 2 leases the tooling and does the marketing.

Interesting... I've never tried hinging a resin hood, I just paint them and lay them on. I'm sure some plastic hinges could be glued to the resin hood w/ super glue, maybe? For Mopars, the AMT '68 Road Runner has a nice set of hinges, but they are the for an open use (i.e. the hood stays open with them installed). Those could be used if that is what you are going for. Functional ones, I don't know.

Cool build. That is one kit I don't remember...will have to find one to add to my collection. I've got all of the other AMT, MPC, Monogram and most of the Revell Foxes. My first 1:1 new car was my '87 Mustang GT (still have it) and also had an '86 LX 2.3 notchback. My older brother has 3 1:1 Foxes--'79 Indy Pace Car (documented as one of the track cars, not a replica), '82 GT, and an '85 GT..

I still don't see much resembalance...the Bonneville ('92-99 pictured) is considerably larger, and FWD. Also, the original poster was asking about a 1990, and that generation ('87-91) was very square w/ a sloping nose and high decklid..

Heh-heh...so true about starting more builds than finishing..so many rarely get beyond gluing the engine block halves together for me. I'm a big Bill Maher fan, I like his show on HBO. I'm pretty cynical about humanity in general, skeptical about a lot of things...believe in science, maths, and technology. R
