  1. Just got thru painting 3 models, one white, one black and one dark metallic blue. The blue one fogged up on parts of it. Tops of fenders , side of roof, etc.I know rubbing out will remove this, but my question is can I just clear over it ? The fogged up parts look like base coat that's why I asked. Thanks for any help, Bubba
  2. I thought the Fenner Tubbs car was just all black. At least that's what I remember, wasn't the casr in Mopar ads?
  3. In my observations I agree that a natural cure has a stronger bond. With that being said , maybe I use the accelerator on stuff which should have a better fit
  4. Got back into the hobby in the 80's. Started buying 3 of every thing I liked, one to build now , one to build later and one to sell at swap meets when I retired. We use to like going out of town and eating and drinking at new places. She passed and I can't get one hour down the road without a pee break. Have several hundred , too many to count. Have several hundred started, when they make me mad I put them back in the box and work on another. I build to relax..Not for contest, no place to show so they stay in the box. I'm usually good up through paint and all are stuck on BMF.
  5. Great photos
  6. Very Very nice
  7. It would really be great if round2 or whom ever it is now would step up and create some new tooling. Yes I'd really love a 1965 2+2 or a 1/25 1965 Shelby. No I'm not interested in stuff that has been re-issued to nausea . I would love to support my LHS but I want new stuff. Thank goodness for Moebius .
  8. When swapping engines, Ive found if you stay within manufacturers its always easier. The Nova would be the easiest plus you could use the big block in the Nova SS.
  9. My town they were all separate except for Chrysler/Plymouth. I think multi brands might of been in outer or small towns.
  10. Harry, I always wondered why they didn't keep Olds, I think that was the oldest.
  11. I like Ace's idea, 1964-65 A-Body's and small block ss.
  12. Try Googling Sanding Files , these are made for modeling
  13. Well you got two with the black widow and conv. How about the Bel Air 2 dr htp and 2dr sdn. Somebody at one time made 4drs in resin. Don't know if there still available ? How about the Pick ups ? or Vette
  14. Very very nice builds, your year must have more months than ours
  15. Thanks to the great guys at model round up, the new moebius 1961 Pontiacs. A Great Big Thanks Guys, they got here Christmas eve.
  16. Your new engine is based on a big block chevy, its called a Big Chief they also made an olds version but the name escapes me now
  17. Don't use pliers you will bend the cap. Quickest way is to take a lighter to the cap, . But do clean the lip before re-capping
  18. Thanks Chuck. It really had me frustrated the other nite. I took the glass I was trying to put in the 72 and put it in the 69. The 72 is still sitting here .Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. These Moebius kits are really nice but I wonder why they didn;t make them where the engines would interchange. To me thats what made AMT popular with the old Fords. All the engines would interchange except the Hemi hit the inner fender panels. Thanks again. Bubba
  19. Its fine if they don't want to make it, But it seems year after year they show one on there table and the year goes by and nothing.
  20. The windshield is not even close to goin in.Have already chipped A-pillar paint, Any suggestions ?
  21. I know it would be under Lindberg, but it sure would be nice to get the Lawman Plymouth we were promised 2 or 3 years ago. Or were we just plain lied to ?
