  1. I agree whole heartedly , I'd like to see a choice of auto or stick trans , separate console and separate buckets and bench seats . different pedals for the dash, and finally a choice of big or small block engines. But as my dad used to say wish in one hand and you know the rest.
  2. Maybe I'll have to finish the one I started in the 1980's.
  3. I don't know if you can compare to this but, years ago I went to Toledo twice a year for the show and swap meet . Fall was always bigger filling all rooms. When they narrowed it down to one day suppliers from afar quit coming because it wasn't worth the travel and expense for one day. Less people led to less people. Today the model show and swap meet would fit into the smallest room of the old building with plenty of room to spare. Like water goin down a bath tub .
  4. I wish you luck. If you start casting for the public I'm down for a few .
  5. Thanks guys, making a copy is one answer.
  6. Is anyone doing promo parts since Modelhaus closed ? I need a headlight for a 1963 polara.
  7. I got mine wed. and I agree, I have never seen anything even close. Joseph is a true artist.
  8. The new place in Massilon Ohio is 330 830 7755 , Hope this helps, there also doing military colors now.
  9. Yea there numbers 10 and 11 on the decal sheet. had one in front of me .
  10. Looks to me. as a 1969 GTO , but i'm probably wrong.
  11. I don't see the Melrose car selling very well. It is a Hemi and Auto but has the street interior, but has the backseat piece you need to build a drag car . They should just make a correct sedan. Hemi, Auto ,backseat brace . Leave the Satelite alone or make a altered wheelbase. I think the sedan will sell real well.
  12. My vote would be 1966 Mustang by AMT
  13. Very Very Nice
  14. If I seen this it was decades ago. Air brushed some scale finishes enamel 2 days ago and its still very sticky. Was in the dehydrater for 4 hours and no help. I don't know if I ever seen this before. Any idea how to fix? I'm gonna put it outside tomorrow.
  15. .Looking good, keep it up.
  16. Your not forced to look. I pass on a lot of stuff that doesn't interest me. Maybe they want more info on what you did ? But I have to agree with Harry, The model is why we are, here
  17. I'm not a ford guy , but I always liked the 1960 ford. depending on what issue one had two engines in it.
  18. I think MCW has a few ,at least they did.
  19. Great work , keep it up.
  20. Well I'd like to see 56 chevy bel air, newer stude than what we have , 58 and 59 plmouth and dodge's with poly engines , 51 ford (not victoria), 58 ford , 58 to 60 t-bird , and lastly a corvair ramp pick-up. I don't want anything prior to the war or after 1972. The 60's is a different story. I hope someone is listening.
  21. I know I'm getting in here late, I had a 1965 cuda with the 4barrel engine 4spd and my boss had a 1965 fury 1 Plymouth with 383 4spd. He was married with family while I was still in high school. I remember the shifter on his came out of the floor , bent 90 toward the driver and bent another 90 back toward the seat. You could of fit 6 big people in that fury. I drove it but never horsed it, my cuda was way faster.
  22. Cleaning up my desk, last issue of MCM is dec 2015, is that correct ? I know they run behind but it is may.
  23. It depends on how they were made and what kind of paint used. Mopar and ford used enamels and the over spray does not dry as quickly as laquer . Bodies were painted before the marriage with their chassis, so there should be no overspray on gm cars wiyh full frames. Mopar painted their cars before the front k member and engine and drive train were installed, with enamel and over spray the rockers should have a mist of paint. not entirely painted like for show cars. just a mist that gets finer the farther away from the rocker panel. most people tend to over do it on models. on chassis and parts most companies used some form of protective coating, paint ,wax, undercoating what ever was cost effective, most in some form of black. they weren't building master pieces.
  24. Yes it was lacquer and it blushed. I'll probably leave it sit until this weekend and give it another coat. I usually use a 2 part clear and I wouldn't want to risk screwing it up at this point. Thanks guys
