Gorgeous build! Very subtle. As a matter of fact I was thinking that it should have been sectioned too until I saw that you had! Not over the top. Just right! Later-

An Ecto 1 parts kit A Jeep Commando kit with most of the parts A beautiful old Heller kit that is only missing a couple of engine pieces And a kit I've wanted for a long time- Tamiya Jaguar. Later-

These came in the mail yesterday. The chassis from the screw bottom fits the resin wagon so I'm set there. However, if anyone has a spare front grill and rear bumper for a 59 Pontiac I'd love to have a set for the original body. Later-

Got a bit of progress made on this last night. Made a roll cage that resembles the one from a reference online. What a pain! It's just flexible enough to be able to weave it in. Hopefully I'll be able to fit the windshield in now. Later- -
Thank you! I'm glad you all like it. This is the second "Swap Build" that SamIAm and I are doing. We decided to each build a GTO- Mine a 66, his a 67- and then swap them. Later-

Nice work! I like the technique you used for the graphics. I'll have to give that a try on a build. And extra points for use of an unusual subject for a lowrider! Later-

I tried my hand at doing a lowrider paint scheme on this 66 GTO. Not exactly great work but I enjoyed practicing with the HOK and Ultracolor paints I had and trying to learn how to use them. It has quite a few "dings" in the paint from bumping it when the paint was still wet while trying to remove tape. Oh well! I probably will never go this detailed in another paintjob as it turned out to be a lot of work. It did, however, give me a lot more respect for those who can do the phenominal lowrider paint jobs. Definitely takes some serious vision and skill. The only non kit parts to this build were the tires and wheels and I added a dash from a 65 Grand Prix for a little custom touch. Later-
