  1. Wow! I love your build of this. What an unusual color combo, but it works great. I'd love to find one of these kits again. Later-
  2. Simply beautiful. What a beautiful color. Later-
  3. Great job on the polish. Being pre-painted must have saved you some time. What a beautiful color and a sweet build. Later-
  4. I wish I could have found one or two in that color. The only ones I saw were red or black. I love what you did to detail this one. Looks nice! Later-
  5. You're doing some beautiful work here. I have to say that nose does look good on the Duster. The engine work is looking great too. Here are the photos (as bad as they are) of my 69 Super Camaro start. I started this over 20 years ago. I need to get it finished. This is the old "Rampage" Camaro. I just eyeballed the cut on the nose and the slope of the fenders matched up perfectly with the curve of the nose. I did have to narrow the nose a bit to fit though. I also lowered the tail in the back to line up more with the height of the roof. I thought it looked better that way. Thanks for letting me post photos of it. I got to dig it back out after all of these years. Later-
  6. Great looking builds (just checked out your CRX). Your workdesk needs a tidy? You ougt to see mine. Let me know when you can't find your desk! Later-
  7. Nicely done. Beautiful paint combo. How was this one to build? I just got this in trade from Scuderia. Looks like a good kit. Did you lower it at all? Later-
  8. Thanks. Still trying to muster up the energy after work to get back on this. Got to get the other side trim put on and the rear bumper squared away. Later-
  9. I've got a 69 Camaro I started back about 1991 or 92 that I've done the same thing to. It is still in primer after all these years. I'll try to shoot some pics of it in the morning. Later-
  10. How does an idiot like me go about doing that? Later-
  11. I'll have to find that forum and ask. I don't seem to have the problem from my laptop. Later-
  12. Wanna send me one?? What page? Never had this problem before the update. Later-
  13. Ever since I updated to the new Firefox on my phone, if I backspaxe to fix a typo in my posts it erases my post. If I baxkspace it deletes all of my post except the word I'm tyoing at that moment. Is there a setting that I can set to stop this. I hate typos but am affraid to back up now and delete everything I typed. Later-
  14. Looks like it has a nice flow to it now. Great stance too. Keep it up. Later-
  15. That steering wheel, shifter and column are things of beauty. I can't believe your level of detail. Can you give me some further info on the work you did on the windshield frame? What size of half round did you use? Later- That steering wheel, shifter and column are things of beauty. I can't believe your level of detail. 16. I have to say that is an interesting idea and I like it. However, the hood is too tall, to me. Great job though. Later-
  17. I really like that kit and it looks like you did a nice job. Is the color silver or gray? Either way it fits well with tje red interior. Later-
  18. I'm looking forward to what you come up with too. Got any photos or links of your previous build(s)? Later-
  19. Art- I'll keep that in mind because I have another one that I want to build in the future that Troy Trepanier did of a similar car. I think it was a New Yorker. It had the same grille as the 55 300. I think it was called the Rose Bird. Later-
  20. Wow! I can't imagine why you had to build up courage to post THAT. You should be very proud of that one. Later-
  21. Concert tickets....or speeding tickets. Very nice job on the weathering and detail. Even has door locks. I put those on my 70 1/2 Camaro also. Later-
  22. sbk- That was merely an accident. I thought that they were just extra resin from the mold. I cut them off before I realized they were supposed to be there. (Kicking myself now) I'll have to make new ones. I'm really thinking strongly about ordering that 49 Caddy front grille and bumper from Modelhaus that you posted to use on my 51 Chevy Fleetline build. Later-
  23. Nice Honda. Great job on it. I have this version of the S800--From Toyota. Waiting to be built....... As small as it is and it is even 1/24 scale. Quite a tiny car. Later-
  24. Richard- Looking great so far.I like the colors and the contrast in the wood. Can't wait to see the wood go on. I'll be watching. Later-
  25. As promised I have some photos to share. I received my 50 Caddy rear bumper. What a nice piece. I began cutting some of the width out of it and I had to grind out some of the back of it to get it to tuck up to the body. This is where it sits now. I haven't gotten back to finishing it. So, after sanding down the second coat of putty and a quick coat of primer I got to work on the side trim. I added a small strip of styrene to extend the bottom piece of trim with the idea of making the trim to replicate the molded in trim. Then I came to my senses and I think I will be making a mold of the lower trim from a second body to replicate this. I think it will be the easier way to go. So I will be removing that small strip of styrene near the taillight. Next I took a strip of .020 X .020 and glued it in place for the upper trim piece. Now to get the driver's side to match. That is all I got done on my breaks last night. At least I'm making forward progress. Once I get the trim on I think I will be finishing the door panels OR chopping the top. Stay tuned. Later-
