  1. Anybody know of a kit that would be a good jumping off point for this drag cage and chassis in this 70 Nova? Doesn't have to be exact but a good start would be helpful. Thinking the Matt Hayes T Bird or Glidden Ford. Anybody got something to trade? Later-

  3. Whoo- I NEED that pro street Beretta for a project!! Later-
  4. I figured since I needed to buy Flux for soldering that I would make my trunk hinges tonight. After an hour and a half I successfully made one and failed on two more. I'm done for the night!! Later-
  5. Carl, Both doors are decaled. Must have been the way the photos looked. My plan is to keep the paint as it is. I've been looking high and low for my butane torch so I can practice my soldering. Haven't found it yet. Later-
  6. Yeah, I think that this is going to be my next "stalled project"! Lol. I do believe that I am going to finally have to learn how to solder, which means I should probably convert over to brass. Not so sure what I am doing at the moment will work. This is just superglued together as a quick test. I went through a couple of bins of Mike's stuff that I got and pulled out anything that was tube or rod of approximately the right size. The picture is what I came up with. Time to start sorting! Later-
  7. Making a start of it. This might cause me to go insane... Later-
  8. My plan is for something similar to this beast! Later-
  9. Here are the pics of the difference between the stock body and the modified one. Later-
  10. Found my problem. My wife changed the picture file sizes on my phone yesterday because they are too large. It changed them from jpg to heic..... Live and learn. Later-
  11. So, the update no longer allows for my pics to upload. How do I convert pics from my Galaxy S21 to an acceptable file type? Later-
  12. I got this body from my Buddy, Mike Flynn's "estate" and I'm wanting to finish it up. I tried for years before he passed away to get him to finish it. I always liked the paint work on it. Unfortunately, it has suffered a bit over the years on his bench and the paint isn't as pristine as it once was. I recently got a 69 Nova kit for a few parts that I'll need but the more I mull it over as to how I want to finish it I doubt I'll use much from the kit. Tonight, as I sat his body next to a stock one I was surprised to realize how much he had modified the body. More to come. Later-
  13. Just got these given to me by a friend. They came from her mother's deceased husband. All either sealed or sealed inside. The Lotus is already getting packed to send to Sam I Am. She said that her mom is clearing out all of his stuff. I told her that I'd be interested in any kits, parts, built-ups, tools and supplies that she wanted to get rid of. Later-
  14. Yeah, I saw that too. Shipping.from Japan, if I'm not mistaken. Later-
  15. Got this kit in Monday afternoon's mail from ewetwo to finish my Buddy's started project (second pic) as my next project. Thanks David! Later-
  16. I love the mods you have done to this and the clear top. I sure does look like it came from the little.pages of way back! Nice work! Later-
  17. Nice work on your Impala! I like that color very much. I'll have to hunt some down. I'll keep your info on the body fitment in mind since I am getting close to that stage on my lowrider build. Later-
  18. Very nice! I like the shade of green. I need to get back onto my 61-63 Birds. Later-
  19. So, a bit of slow progress on this one but I'm trying not to get caught up in a lot of bench time since I have quite a few projects on the house going. Trying to be reasonable. Anywho, I got the grill and bumper detailed as well as the taillights. Also started today on the chassis and suspension. Filled and sanded low spots on the frame in prep for paint. Made springs out of wire and lowered the rear suspension. I also started on the lowering of the front suspension. Later-
  20. You are doing some great work on this! I love to see how you have been improving on the details. Nice work! Later-
  21. Thinking about making this one of my next projects to work on. The thing with this is that it was one of my Buddy's projects that he had started years ago. It sat on his bench for several years and every time I went to visit I would beg him to finish it. I always thought that it was such a beautiful paintjob. Unfortunately, he never finished it before he passed away last year. It has suffered a bit of damage since then. I just purchased a 69 Nova kit from David (ewetwo) so that I could try to get it done. Later-
  22. Not really on the road but at the end of the road to my place. Been driving by it for a month now and the other day it was in his front yard- so, I know it moves. Not terribly exciting or exotic but you don't see these Pontiacs much anymore. Later-
  23. Definitely loads of talent! That looks amazing! Are you planning to have this cast? Not my cup of tea, but seeing what it is and how well it's done, who could say no? It would look great in that light Metallic Blue sitting on my shelf. Later-
  24. No problem. I found my decals and they are badly cracked anyway. Later-
  25. Looks great so far! I'll be watching for updates. Later-
