  1. I should have an extra set of decals if you want them. Not sure what shape they are in. They will probably need coated too. At least it would give you another shot at it. Later-
  2. Thanks Carl. Made a bit more progress yesterday detailing the front grill and rear bumper chrome. On to working on the chassis. I'm thinking of using the lowrider suspension parts from the 70 Monte Carlo. Later-
  3. Thanks David. Looking forward to getting this one finished. Later-
  4. When I saw it I wasn't sure it wasn't a Deal's Wheels kit since I never knew what subjects they made. One of the reasons I bid on it was to get it and see if it was a DW or someone's custom creation. I was happy to see that it had been chopped down to make the shortened body. Back to the OP so that I don't hog this post. Later-
  5. That looks like fun. It's going to look cool when done. I think I have some 59-60 Chevy parts. Let me know if you need anything. I got this one someone had built. It was falling apart and had a 59 Chevy windshield frame. I tore it down, molded in a 69 GTO windshield frame, repainted it and got it together. Later-
  6. Got the interior finished tonight while on Zoom with Sam I Am. Later-
  7. Bring it on!! I like the "off the wall" builds from time to time. Helps.keep this hobby fun and interesting. Later-
  8. Yeah, I didn't have it and I got this idea floating around in all the empty space upstairs. Thought I'd give it a try. Later-
  9. Picked up another sealed one o these off of FB Marketplace. Someday I need to start one of these Moebius Ford pickups. Later-
  10. I forgot that I had made a WIP for this until this morning. I have now moved from Washington State to Kentucky and have started unpacking. So, progress is slow on this. I managed to get a bit more done on the interior. I got the idea a couple of days ago to make a chain link steering wheel. I got a cheap necklace from Wal-Mart and last night I wrapped a length of it around a bit of tubing. Then I gently dabbed superglue with a toothpick onto the links. Once it set up I removed the tubing and hit it with accelerator. Now to make the center bars. Here is where im at. Later-
  11. Began making a chain link steering wheel for my 67 Impala. Bought a cheap necklace at Wal-Mart, wrapped the links around a bit of tubing and superglued the links and hit it with a bit of accelerator. Now to make the center spokes. Later-
  12. Got these two in a great trade with Dann Tier. Thanks Buddy! They look amazing! Later-
  13. Lol! I got one of those defective kits too! And the Dog version. Later-
  14. Nice work on this one! The color combination is perfect. I like the detailing you did with the engine and the interior looks great! Later-
  15. Nice work so far. I scratchbuilt the 4 link on my 71 GTX using scrap PE metal, tubing and some "rod end" (or a close representation) parts on hand. Wasn't the easiest way to go but it was fun to do. And I didn't have to buy another kit to rob parts from. Later-
  16. My first bit of model building since my move from WA to KY two weeks ago. This build is nothing high detail since it was supposed to be a quick build during the move. Working at the dining room table again for now. Still have a bit more interior work to do on the 67 Impala lowrider. The door panels and dash are just sitting in place since I still have to chrome the door handles, window rollers and ash trays. Thinking of scratchbuilding an 8 inch chain link steering wheel. Later-
  17. Not today, but got these a week or so ago in a trade with SamIAm. Finally getting around to snapping a pic. Thanks again Buddy! Later-
  18. Nice looking job so far! Great paintwork. I built this one (Street Fever version) a few years ago as my own custom. I really.like the lines of the body on it. Later-
  19. Thank you for the info. That helps for what I wanted to know. Later-
  20. I have always been curious about this kit and have thought often about getting it to build. I have never seen anyone build it and have always wondered what it looked like built up. Those thoughts have now been put to rest! Thank you for saving me from myself! Later-
  21. Does anyone know if the 4x4 suspension in the Moebius 66 Ford and the 70 Ford 4x4's are the same? Did they use the same parts in both kits? Were the stock suspensions the same in the 1:1's? Later-
  22. I like that you are reviving this long forgotten project but I can't help seeing the van from Dumb and Dumber. Later-
  23. Those are nice! Never heard of them. Going to have to check those out. Is there a website? Later-
  24. Something else that isn't seen anymore are the hold down washers or snap rings for the interior to body attachment as shown in a couple of your pictures above. Also the wall mount display shelf that was included in a few of the AMT kits. Later-
