  1. My L700 Truck and trailer arrived with the Coke themed decals
  2. Ollies can be hit or miss when it comes to selections. As far as missing wheels go and it being a sealed kit...Ollies puts there price tag on the kit after taking the manufacturer's wrapping off, and then reseals the kit. They could have lost the tires in that manner. The reason Ollies does this is because a lot of people buy the kits and resell on eBay or other places after removing a price tag from a discount house. Now the only way to remove Ollies tag is to remove the wrap and thereby losing the sealed kit advantage in price. A reseal also might have the seal seam in an odd place like across the front of the box. The manufacturer would never do that.
  3. Notice it does not say Dodge anywhere.
  4. Step daughter got me the Coca Cola GMC General truck and Coca Cola Fruehauf trailer kits.
  5. Man I thought I'd be getting cheap bodies but those other ones you posted are expensive. The "M" is the only one at $5.00. But I did order that one.
  6. With the recent re do of the GTOs, the 64 Cutlass, and the Chevy II, and the Chevelle, perhaps the 66 Skylark could be redone. I like Buicks and would love an accurate 66 Wildcat. I'd be game for a corrected Fury as well.
  7. Side cove trim on this kit is not quite right in my eyes.
  8. Only one car kit but this does have two variations for color graphics. I really wish they would do a standard Charger Turismo/Duster Turismo. The headlight area would need to be retooled to a quad set up as well as the hood shape. I would think that could be done without ruining more issues of the Shelby.
  9. Have that one too, as well as the original Revell kit of the Trabant. There was a TV show where people took three of these on a trip from Berlin to Laos. One heck of an adventure. They outlasted their Mercedes Benz support vehicle.
  10. I built that kit. Really nice build. Just be mindful of the small bits. Also have the identical MPC boxed kit which comes with chrome pieces.
  11. I could see this as a very detailed barn find diorama. Imagine a dusty Rolls found in the old estate barn with a property caretaker and a couple of gentlemen from the local branch of the Royal Veteran Motor Society sizing it up. Dust it up a bit and add cobwebs. Leave the radiator grille as is with it's louvers lying askew as they are. Dried grimy dirt in and around the engine compartment with a bird nest maybe. Wooden beam floor, part of the structure to give the impression of walls and a single green shade lamp bulb hanging from a wire to dimly illuminated their find.
  12. Couldn't one cobble up the proper underhood details? Basically geometric shapes. Plus some things will be hidden anyway.
  13. Yes I did. In the 55 Chevy pick up kit from AMT.
  14. Thanks, Can-Con. What was real interesting was the Mangel wheels looked better IMO, cost less, plus the center caps interchanged with the Boyds. Those wheels looked really nice on my 83 Mercury Marquis Brougham wagon (current project, 3D printed body. The 55 Chevy Pick ups are easy to find and the wheels were the same in several iterations of that kit.
  15. Thanks everyone for looking. Seems the closest is to get them from a 55 step side. What I had on my old wagon were a lot different than the Fittipaldis shown from the 3D files. My old Mangels were a copy of a Coddington wheel but looked a bit better IMO. These are Boyd's wheels which I think is the wheel in the 55 Stepside kit.
  16. That would be pretty cool if ya got em.
  17. Does anyone know where I can get this wheel 3D printed or resin cast?
  18. You can see the relationship between the two kits. I think tooling was shared and or modified between the two. The later at least has a chassis that is a bit more detailed.
  19. Picked up a 69 Buick Skylark from Too Many Projects. Also got the same car's interior from a different supplier. Hope the two will mate.
  20. Just got Too Many Projects' 1969 Buick Skylark body. Very nice body. I'll be making a model of a car my grandfather owned. This in my opinion was the best styled car of the Skylark series before they got a bit bloated in 1970. Depending on when or where you bought a Skylark made an impact on what trim bits you got. The body itself came out in 68. They came in Special, Special Deluxe, Skylark, Skylark Custom and of course the GS. For the 69, I've seen these with horizontal ventiports low on the fender (early cars), vertical ventiports (most common) or none. I've noticed three different style grilles, one with just thin horizontal ribs with Buick tri-shield on the driver side, horizontal ribs with horizontal center bar and a horizontal center bar with a verticle plaque in the center with the Buick tri-shield. These were found on all Skylark Customs. GS grilles were a different grille altogether.I owned a Special Deluxe with what I would have considered a top line Skylark Custom grille with center bar and center plaque. Can't say for sure that it was original to the car. Are there any Buick experts here that could explain the differences. Don't get me started on 68s having ventiports high on the fender along the crease or low on the fender.
  21. None that I found but I did find a Canadian source that has plenty. Wheels & Wings Hobbies (416) 752-0071. They are in Toronto
  22. All well and good but if you can't get the product, what good is it? I have contacted a lot of suppliers, hobby jobbers and shops. No one has it and they don't know when more will come. I also found that the places that do have it won't ship to the US.
  23. Look closely at that picture on the box. Note how grille is horizontally straight? The kit inside has that wrong and you will notice the edge of the grille and hood is curved where they meet. Doesn't take much to correct, but it will make you notice the error if you are familiar with the vehicle at all.
  24. Blank screen.
