  1. Nice bit of work there. I love the swapped steering/dash detail.
  2. Was that town Cotati? I remember the Cotati Mazdas . I seen them when I hitch hiked all over the country in the 70s.
  3. Love Buicks, and I love this one.
  4. Really great model. If I may, try getting rub on lettering kits at a craft or hobby shop to do the lettering on the body and plates. All different colors are available.
  5. I know someone who has a 78 with a six inline. All dressed up with chrome too.
  6. I meant an inline.
  7. One of the resin or 3D printed ones I guess.
  8. Thank you for your hard work. Be safe
  9. The 55 had exhaust ports in the rear bumper, the 56 did not if I'm thinking right. Both those years had the fins upright, The 57 had canted fins, different grille and trim.
  10. Yes indeed on the flat hood. I'd just slap a 6 banger in it as I am weird like that
  11. Yes it did. Probably a column shifter. No manual four speeds.
  12. Nice concept. In the Force 7, I see a lot of Studekaer Avanti in the body shape plus a taste of the Shelby Charger as for the basic size of it. Not sure as to the exact size of the Leyland though. Early Mazda Cosmo for the grille shape or just creating geometric paterns for scratch building. Next you have a chance to see some of the Asian car model kits, check for similar tail lamp designs or hack a 66 Nova lamp.
  13. That intake for the Weber set up is rougher than a cob. Any alternative out there that would look better? Scratch build maybe or sourced from another kit in plastic?
  14. Now that makes that front end come alive with the reflectors
  15. ddddddddd Got these at a swap meet in Waukesha Wisconsin plus four Tamiya sparay paints...all for $120
  16. Yes, but that was a Model T.
  17. I kind of think it's how the car lived. I had a Gremlin with 3 spd manual and a 6 banger, a 76 Hornet X V8 hatchback, a 78 Concord two door 6 cylinder with auto trans, 78 Concord wagon six with automatic. All were dead nutz reliable cars. These were all based on the same platform.
  18. Very nice build. I have some of those Pyro/Lifelike kits. I bought them solely for the subject matter and box art. I may rethink my idea and build them.
  19. I have the later Revell Monogram reissue. Nice kit.
  20. How do those Skylark kits rate for accuracy. I know the old Perry's bodies were off a bit. I really like Too Many Projects Skylark. Very very close to accurate.
  21. Did anyone ever make a quad headlight grille version for this kit? That would probably require a different hood as well.
  22. Where did you source your gauges from?
  23. Try sourcing engine from a Corvair. Nice one in a parts pack kit from AMT (I think). A 3D print VW or Porsche engine would be a good choice, better than a kit engine.
