  1. You can import any car that is 25 years or older.
  2. That would be a 69. The bumper is a giveaway. I do not believe Beaumont ever sold a version of the El Camino.
  3. Well, I think it does come quite regularly, maybe not on a tight schedule, but it does. I get quite agog with excitement when it shows...just one thing I look forward to. It's not like it's a prescription drug I need to take on a controlled schedule. I totally get it is not that important in the grand scheme of things. It's about a hobby. I appreciate all the work the editors and the writers do and all that everyone else does at the mag. Just keep them coming.
  4. Really makes me want to build one
  5. I have two of these kits. I need to put them in the queue.
  6. Is there an extra spring I see in the nippers?
  7. Neeto. I like the Revell VWs
  8. If I did not know this was a model build, I'd think it was real. So clean on the work. One question, are the gears in front of the cam cover supposed to have a belt on them?
  9. Nicely done
  10. Very decent build. Are the decals part of the actual kit? I've loved the look of the car but never bought the kit.
  11. That's pretty cool. Didn't know you had that ability to 3D print stuff. Good on ya!
  12. Yes, it was a tragic story. Felson's writing really brought out the picture of it sinking below the water and the glint of the copper.
  13. Great concept. Really would have been a decent looking car if Chrysler would have done that.
  14. At least you didn't have to do much to make RHD. Dash was already included.
  15. I love this. Great color, thanks for staying away from red paint.
  16. Rather interesting grille work. I never would have thought of using Thunderbolt tail light trim for headlites. Nice work.
  17. The 66 and the 67 were my favorite Chargers.
  18. Cool little car. Drove one once.
  19. Awesome look with the silver cove.
  20. Nice yellow. Even though not a stock color, those cars got repainted back in the day in whatever color the owner wanted. It'll look great after it gets rubbed out and the detailing gets added.
  21. I think part of that error with the head lamp doors was the the first issue of that kit had operating doors that opened and shut. When they simplified the molding, thry got rid of that feature and the shape got wonky. There was no excuse for the louver situation.
  22. AMT (or MPC) had the 1/12th scale Cord. Decent kit but it had a few problems that needed corrected. The head light doors were the wrong shape and the top louver should have been on the hood as the Monogram kit had it. AMT decided to put all the louvers below the hood onto the body. Not to hard to correct but still not right. The oil pan also was missing the drain plug which is easy enough to replicate from scratch or using Trumpeter's nut and bolt set.
  23. Nice color.
  24. Looks sharp
