  1. There have been a couple, but I would have to say JoHan's Mercedes Benz, the maroon one.
  2. H.A.M.B. members do NOT like anything newer than 1964. No cars, no parts on the cars. They really do not like the current crop of street rods and their owners. They call them gold chainers.
  3. Not bashing any car choice, but you have to admit. those guys chose a humorous name for their tune shop.
  4. One could just cut the Camaro chassis and lengthen it. Cut a narrow bit from the Nova chassis and use that as the insert.
  5. I would assume that it meant those kits actually release en masse during 2013. Sometimes older released kits are still sitting on shelves. It would not include those. If you are speaking of the release being scheduled during 2013, but not making true release until 2014, I would not think those would be 2013 releases in reality.
  6. not a sick joke. Diopark makes a lot of unusual kits of things you would want in a diorama. Things like individual tools, dinner settings, bicycles, motor scooters and motorcycles. If there are many people making scenes of historical importance in different war scenes through the years, why wouldn't someone be wanting to build a middle east scene. These Mercedes Benzes are all over the middle east as are Peugeots. This company even makes Soothern Viet Namese people in scale. Something I never saw before.
  7. I just wonder about the reason to do 1st gen VW Golfs. I'd like to see some present day VWs.
  8. Not Palmer. They were Pyro tools.
  9. Bernadette would make a great model LOL
  10. I made this logo for our model car club's 30th year in 2014
  11. Love the pink paint on "hers".
  12. Such a nice car.
  13. Nice collection of builds. Good work.
  14. Nicely done. Did he have issues with fitment of the parts? Sometimes even I can't get those things to go together. LOL
  15. Oooooh Nicely done
  16. I really like the build. The real cars were very nice on the highway. I don't remember the tail lights being like that. I had thought the red lens encircled the middle part which was black. Was this special for Police versions?
  17. Ever since I read "They call Me Mr. 500" back in high school, I've been a fan. Interesting career with Studebaker, STP, the Novi cars and the Turbine racer. I was from Milwaukee and he was from Chicago. When I lived in Santa Barbara, I did not realize he lived there. Awesome. He was always entrepreneurial since his teen years starting a moving company with friends and an old Buick sedan from the twenties I think.
  18. Go back to the Brew City Forums. A guy there is willing to answer your questions. . http://www.brewcitym...7948#post757948
  19. What ever the compressor you choose, make sure it has a moisture trap in the line. That is the small clear cylinder attached to the tank. You can by them separately. You being in a humid part of the states, I would highly recommend it.

  21. Do the beacons in the AMT 70 Ford Police car have what you need? I know they depict a twin set up on a rack, but could be separated.
  22. I have seen where someone has some very thin vinyl in almost any color. You could replicate your Grand Sport stripes with that. I'd call around to folks who do wraps on real cars and ask for scrap that they may have. You would then have to cut it yourself with a sharp X-acto knife. I've seen this done on a model car of a Trans Am Bandit replica and it was quite convincing.
